New free dining offer yeaaah

Been getting the same thing. Been dialing 407-WDISNEY & 407-939-7675 and keep getting "all circuits are busy" recording. Been trying for the last hour.

3 calls and 17 minutes later I have free dining oct-5th through 15th added water parks and more and 4 more days of room and tickets at Pop century and my total went down woohooooooo

My mother used the 407-WDISNEY line. 20 minutes, called at around 9:45 AM Eastern.

Now that one says all circuits busy!

After waiting on hold for 2.5 hours I finally got thru. Will be saving over $1500. Don't give up guys, hang in there. The CM I spoke with was super nice & as you all know said it was extremely crazy and were over 1,000 calls in the que. Good Luck to everyone!!!

What number did you call? I'm at a total of about 3 hrs now!!

I called 939-7675. Honestly, even when they said 10 min wait I was like SURE. Haha. But it was. I would of waited 3hrs though if I knew I could get FD. But of course after I got off the phone, it was online. Oh well. Booked for November and bought Mickey's Very Merry Christmas tickets. Been to the halloween but never Christmas. YEAH!! We were planning 9/27 - 10/2. Does anyone know why these might be blocked out of free dining...so sad! Don't think we can go if we can't get the free dining...

Eileen, If FD is offerd on the 27th and this is your checkin day , you will be offerd the FD for the rest of your stay. Go online and try and book it. Goodluck ! Hope all works out for you!

Well we were successful in getting Free Dining as well! I phoned in at 7:45 and was on hold for one hour in silence followed by another 50 minutes with music before I got to a rep. I had been following this thread all morning and finally saw the free dining online link. I decided to rebook our vacation online since I didnt know how long I would be on-hold and whether our dates would even still be available once I reached a CM. We switched from a week at the WL with dining to a week at the Poly with free dining for only $100 more! With two young kids, the use of the monorail for those late sleepy nights in strollers to get back to our resort outweighed the extra savings of the WL.

Thanks for all the great advice and for the kind poster who gave us all the heads up that this was coming! I love this site!

My TA emailed me just before 9:30 that she had added the free dining to my package. She had to get up early as she's on the west coast. Very excited!

Thank you to everyone for providing so much information! I had not posted until now, but I have done a lot of reading, planning, and preparing. The people of the Dis are awesome.

Just spent 1.5 hours on the phone. Downgraded our room at ASMo from preferred to standard (wanted Toy Story, but since it won't be refurbished and that is more important, it doesn't really matter) and upgraded Quick Service to regular... OOP cost is only $112 more and 4 people get to eat for 7 days. Can't beat that.

i started my morning @ 6am just checking on the dis to see if anything came out and then i had to hop in the shower for work. got to work and on the phone @8:00 and was on hold with the alternate number someone posted, thank you very much, and spoke with a CM @ 8:20 and got off the phone @ 9:00 cause i had to make 4 ressies for my family. we are checking into Pop on 11/11-11/12 room only and starting free dining package on 11/13-11/19!!! what a relief, now i can start planning my park days, etc. thanks for that inside info!!!!

Called at 7:30Central:45 mins on hold, then connected to a super friendly CM! Saved almost $2,000 by switching resorts and I added and EXTRA day!! plus we're going 2 weeks early then originally plannedWW

Did you use a code?

I didn't use a code. When I called I just said I wanted to take advantage of the free dining offer that was offered to the general public. He didn't ask for a code.

Thanks Danny! finally got thru, 1 hour and 57 minutes on hold. I actually got put thru to the Spanish line. Yvette was my CM, she said they are getting the overflow from the English line. I saved $1049.57 Sounds good in any language

Love my Small World Travel Agent!!! We are booked Oct 23 - 30th for FREE DINING!!! Thank You Mary for your persistence!! She says she tried mine first and was told the 23rd was not available. Then she waited until the end of her list and tried again. She told me the CM rechecked her info and it was available!! Persistence pays off!!

Big thanks to Danny for the heads up -- guess that info was right after all!

After 1 1/2 hour on hold, I finally got through and was able to apply FD to our existing reservation -- November 1-8 at POFQ. Texted my sister, who is checking in on November 5, and told her to call. She called at 9:30 and got right through!

We had booked the dining plan originally and had no room discount, so this saves us almost $800. We've been setting extra $$ aside in a "disney fund" since the beginning of the year as kind of a family project, and this discount just pushed us from "almost there" to "more than enough"!
