New FD Bounceback is out

That's the decisions I'm trying to go with. DH and I stayed at CBR and we liked it a lot. We are taking our GS (who will be 3 at the time) on the FD trip next year and I'm considering ASM or POP too. We took him to ASM when he was really in to Woody/Buzz so that worked out well, but I'd like to try something different. We will definitely go with a bunch of TS meals so that's why I'm leaning towards CBR. But maybe POP or ASM is better with a 3 year old???? So many tough choices

I'm pretty sure you are aware of this @jayfo but just confirming. You can book a BB at Pop as a value resort and pay the difference in dining plans to upgrade to the Disney Dining Plan. We do this each year.

I've read every post in this thread but I am still confused.. has anyone been able to confirm that it's actually 10/31 that the FD Bounceback needs to be booked by? If it's 09/30 like the flyer in the first post states, we are out of luck because we check in on 10/30.

Everything I've read is that people have called and CMs have confirmed it goes until Oct 31st.

I booked a bb a few days ago, and the cm said Sept. 30 is the absolute last day to book the bb. I don't think we'll know for sure until someone actually books a bb in October.

I phoned directly (twice as I had several questions) and was told October 31st. I had the cm verify as I will not be there till late October. If your still not convinced you may want to try calling the 800 number yourself and asking. If you do please let us know what you find out.

Has someone confirmed that the Sept. 30th date listed as the last booking date on the brochure is not correct? Has it been reported as a typo?

Right now we're going by what cm's tell us, which as we all know can differ depending on who we talk with. The only way to be convinced is for someone to actually book it, but that can't happen until October.

Its not a typo, the brochure was right but according to the cms that particular one ended July31st and the new one started Aug. 1st. What would be good would be if someone who is at a resort now could take a picture and post or even just verify what the brochure says. We don't need to wait till October.
If it would help anyone out I will gladly call once again and talk to a third cm. Its a 800 number so no big deal and while it is correct that you can get bad information from a cm its a little hard to believe that three of them would be wrong.
However ideally it would be good to see a new brochure posted.

I am at a Disney resort right now. The brochure at the Poly where I checked in on Aug. 17 says it must be booked by Sept. 30. The brochure at CSR where I checked in on Aug. 20 is the same brochure stating book by Sept. 30. It's the same brochure that Smitch posted at the start of this thread.

Can you dial the 8844 ex and ask while you are there? See what answer you get? That would be good if it is possible.

I have phoned twice now from the Poly and asked. I was told Sept. 30th. I will call tomorrow from CSR to see if the answer is different. You never know. I hope I'm wrong and you are getting correct information.

But like I said, even if they tell me Oct. 31st is the last day to book, I won't believe it until someone actually books it in October.

So, I just called myself again and got 'Missy'. She is the third CM I have talked to and I asked her to look up and verify when the FD BB offer has to be booked by. I wanted the very last day i could do it. She told me October 31st, I asked her to double check, she came back and said October 31st.
Take what you want from this however this is the third cm I personally have talked to that said that. I'm going to believe that they can't all be wrong. It would be great if someone else could call and see if we can back up my answers.

When I called to book the FD BB on August 12th, the CM told me I could also book the RO that had "expired" on July 31st.

My mistake I thought you called the Disney reservations line and not the number on the flyer. I hope you can book up until October 31. I found last year I called(407-939-1923) to switch the dates of my BB when we returned from our trip and the CM at that number was very confused on how to do this and had to call the 8844 extension number himself to figure out what to do. It could have just been a new employee but phone CM's sometimes seem to give out wrong information.

Any idea if there will be a new bounceback offered after this one expires? I've never booked one so I have no experience. Do they even offer them one after another?
We'll be there Nov.8-15 so I'd love to know if there is a possibility!!

The room only discount for 2017 bounce back offer should be available by the time you are there in November. The free dining bounce back will have expired by then.

So I dialled ext. 8844 from my room this morning. This time I was told you could book the fd until Oct. 31st. Hope it's true for all of you checking in, in October.

I just phoned to clarify some information. The offer doesn't expire until October 31. Also, unless I heard wrong, the BB is from May 3 and not May 30th. It also includes most of the value resorts.
I'm guessing they have just changed the offer up a bit.

I was writing while he was telling me the dates so he could well have said the 30th. When your only half listening the 3rd and the 30th sound very similar. Don't take that date as gospel, it could be wrong.
