Just what I wanted to hear.....Tubbi's is open 24 hours, right? Is the price the same as the other resorts (11.99?) and refills free?

*As #1hockeymom posted...yes! Swolphin certainly DOES have refillable mugs. They are tall, and very beautifully adorned with photos of the Swan/Dolphin. I am looking at mine as I type! It holds 16 oz. of beverage, and is a wonderful souvenier.

Thanks for the welcome and so glad to hear from the experts that the Dolphin DOES in fact have refillables!
I think my DS & DD are really going to enjoy the EPCOT, MGM, Boardwalk area since they are 14 and 12!! We have only been on the Boardwalk once, just prior to our Illuminations cruise, and I don't remember much!

Tubbi's is always open. The mugs are refillable for free, but unsure of the price! Valet parking went up from $10 to $14. So $11.99? Has anyone on the thread bought one in the last month or so?

NOTE!!!! On the mugs - they used to keep them up by the checkout. You may have to step up there first to buy one & then go back and get your beverage. If I had not known in advance that our whining to SwanDolphin about refillable mugs was successful, I would have ended up purchasing regular beverages the first round. (We 'suggested' for a LONG time that refillables were a good idea - SD came through!! - He is a treasure!!!)

OK BambiTamby, what do you need from me to get a creative piece of clip-art on my posts? I used to have the jumping cheerleader but she disappeared one day so I removed the info on that. Got anything with a nice UW Madison logo?

And SD...isn't he a sweetie?!
And, it's because of SD that DISers are able to find out about incredible rates at the S/D! He's the one that started the nurse, teacher, gov't, and AP discounts!

you need to PM me a logo, or a link to one, and tell me hair and eye and skin color.(if that matters)

Today we are checking out of the Swan and moving to AKL!!
My DH actually wanted me to call and stay here for the entire time!! We love the Swan and would highly recommend it to anyone. This has been a great week for us, tool. There were lots of children here due to school vacations so we did not feel out of place at all. The service, location and beds were everything that all of you raved about. We will definitely come back soon....

On topic>> Dismom63>> Just wait until you go to sleep at night! You're going to LOVE that bed! Oatmeal soap is BETTER than Mickey soap! The grotto pool is fabulous and you can get a chair with no problem at all!

jmcross~ WOW - what a great room and view. Hmmm...something for me to aspire for for my July trip.

Dismom~ The Dolphin Fountain is another "nicety". We love going there for a BLT at lunch and an ice cream after a summer evening in the park. I, also, liked sunning and swimming by the Swan quiet pool where there were never more than 5 people. Talk about feeling like you have your own personal pool!!!

DREAMY....~I could get LOST in the view...literally. I can not blame your DH for not wanting to move. It's the precise reason we do OTHER resorts before coming to the Dolphin, as DD & DH do not wish to leave for any other destination. It is a wonderful property...so happy you had a great stay, and want to return. Thank you for posting these pictures, and some other info from inside the MAGIC!
