Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I am still lurking about.....

How do you like my new cross? It's a bit more fancy than the old one.

Anyway, I do have a Swan question. We are leaving for the Swan in a few months and we are on the Club Level. I paid for it as I wanted the little bit of extra luxury and the ease of a quick breakfast in the morning. I really want a balcony room with a fireworks view but I've been reading lately that this is no longer allowed. Is it true that if you stay on Club Level that you MUST be on the Club floors? Anyone have any recent experiences with this issue?

Ok, not sure if you all would want this but I wrote a little database for us Wilderness Lodgers to know who's going and when.

Please read the following, take a look at the link, and let me know if you would all be interested in having access to this for the Swan and Dolphin as well.

I created a database system that will allow you to enter the dates you are going and search to see who else will be there when you are going!! I call it, "Who's Going".

Currently, you can only use Wilderness Lodge or Villas at Wilderness Lodge but if this takes off, I can only assume that others will use it as well and I will add hotels / resorts.

There are 3 main pages.

1) The main search page. You can search based on a number of criteria but you don't need to use ALL of them. For example, if you wanted to see who is going in January of 2004 you would select January as the month and 2004 as the year.

2) The ADD records page. This is obviously where you would add your stay information. Take note of the password you use as you can use it later to edit or remove your record.

3) The EDIT record page. This is where you can return to change your dates OR delete your entry if need be. Make sure you use the password you entered on the add record page.

I have tested it and I am sure it could still use some work. How about you all take a few and go fill out your dates and let me know if I can do anything to make it easier or if there is something missing as far as directions / instruction go.

I think this will be fun.

We saw Haunted Mansion last night. We had never made it a tradition to go to the movies on Thanksgiving, but since our "instate" family was spread out this year due to different circumstances we decided to start a new tradition with our family after sharing dinner with relatives.
On the opening sequences, I thought for sure I could feel the air rushing towards me like on the ride! Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as I expected. It was still a great family movie, though, and we did have a great time!

I still can't believe the Lions won!

We hope that everyone had a speical day yesterday with family near and far. All the girls were home (all 5 of them), my 92 yr young mom and my own sisters and brother and their families. It was truly special for us - yes, i did cook for all 26- they have survived through today, no food poisoning yet!!!
I love holidays!!!

Ah, survived another BF It has been this cold that has almost killed me though and not the shopping!!! I didn't start the Zicam right away & this has been 6 days of pure HE@@!!

We were at Best Buy by 5:30 - got the $129 Camcorder (only 3 left after me), plus a few other things. Out by 6:45. Went to Office (?) something and got the chair for $9.99 after rebate and rainchecks for the wireless keyboard/mouse set (which never came in). If the gal hadn't been mumbling I would have received the replacement BETTER sets they were offering right on the spot before they ran out. Got everything I wanted from Old Navy, JCPenney, Kohls and Target and was home (an hour away) by 1 pm.

I just posted my trip dates. Great job! We appreciate it! However, I couldn't list my hotel since it wasn't on there... we are staying at the POLY right after Christmas... I know, I know! TRAITOR!!

(But for $170 a night, WooHoo! Who could say no?) Plus I have been to the Poly many times for dinner, breakfast, MASS, but never stayed there... So we are very excited!

Hope everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving! I started early this morning, with a little baking, laundry, mugging, dis-ing! Like jgates I made it though Black Friday with a few toys! Found DD9 a 26" bike for $39. Some 900 MHz wireless headphones (for TV or Stereo) for $19. A personal DVD player for $129. And some great clothes for all the kids. Almost picked up a $200 leather jacket for $59 but DH said he didn't NEED one. (But I know he wanted it...shoulda got it.) Great job, jgates! 5:30 AM for a Camcorder what a deal!

Many thanks to all who are being patience with me and the mugs! I am staying positive that THIS time they will be right! Those who have requested to get theirs right away will be mailed today!
