Off topic question but do people add these to e-wallets for use in the park or get a physical gift card and transfer balances? Wasnt sure how prevalent NFC pay stations are for sit down meals. Dont love the idea of a bunch of money on a physical card to lose...

You can order an Disney e-gift card from the Disney Store that can be added to your digital wallet. It will always show the opening balance and not the current balance, though. For instance, mine always shows $25 when there is often much more on it. You can add to it via the Disney Gift Card website, but you can only move whole amounts from one gift card to another.

I also keep a bunch of real physical gift cards to use to hold my DVC dues.

BTW, if you can staying onsite you can charge back to your room and pay off your balance with gift cards the night before. They can reverse a charge to your credit card if a payment has already been processed.

Tried my luck at the paypal offer but deleted my bank account to see if the account would pull from my CC before checkout. Now when bank account is re-added I no longer get the pay in 4 option Will keep trying...

My 1000 points from PayPal completely posted today. Was able to cash out $10 to my account.

Mine did too…. I have a question about PayPal actually I thought maybe I’d try to start doing some more shopping through there, but do they not have some kind of search function where you can just search for the store you’re wanting to shop at to see if they have it in their list.

When did you guys place your original order? Just wondering approximately how many days before the PayPal points post.

I could go for another $1,250 worth of DGCs (I have 2 upcoming trips and an AP renewal) so I would definitely use them. Decisions, decisions. I guess the WORST CASE is that I only save the 2% on my credit card .

Based on language you “should” be able to still get the 10% cash back and 5% (paylater) cash back. After you max 20% cashback it reverts to 5%.

I used a US Bank Triple cash that I am working on a SUB. It would not let me choose the Chase Ink that i am also working on SUB

Chase and Capital One cards cannot be used for the Pay in 4 (and i’m assuming pay laters)

I assume you need the PayPal credit card to put it on a card. It wouldn’t allow me to use a credit card, only a bank, for pay later.

Did you only have a Chase or capital one card? I put it on my Barclays card fine.

I'm not familiar with Pay in 4, is that how you have to agree to pay in order to get rewards? I have the Paypay Credit which is no interest if paid within 6 months, would that work as well?
When I hit Pay Later it gives me the option of my credit card stored or the Paypal Credit but it says nothing about 4 payments

Welp, I did it. The possibility of 30% was too good to pass up and I was afraid they would run out of the extra 20% cash back if I waited too long. It did allow me to pay in installments with my Fidelity Visa.

I don't understand where people are seeing the Pay in 4 option.
I hit Pay Later and my options are my bank account, credit card, or Paypal Credit. Anyone I select nothing pops up for installment payments

I just ordered $1250 from Disneystore as well with the paypal 20% pay later option. Hopefully it goes through with the rewards.

It looks like I made a typo in the email in the personalization section on one of the cards when I was at the DisneyStore site though. WiIl that cause an issue with the delivery of the email gift card?

The order note went to the mail associated with the account, so I hope the cards emails will well. If that is the email they use to send the cards, then I'm surprised they don't require you to type it twice to confirm to avoid issues like this. I really don't need any aggravation so I hope I will be able to get to it from my account online or from the order email. Either with the card or with them having to cancel or update the order and screwing with the paypal offer.

I doubt the email is valid, so I don't think I need to worry about it being used by someone else but does anyone have any experience with email gift cards from Disney?

Hope this clarifies things. Here's an annotated screenshot on PayPal to show what promos to activate. Remember to use PayPal Pay Later (Pay In 4) when checking out. It requires a soft credit pull the first time you set one up at PayPal, I had to unfreeze one of the credit bureaus.

I did a similar promotion last year Oct/Nov 2024 and the PayPal points paid out after 60 days. YMMV.

Yes add the credit card (Amex and Chase cards work) to your PayPal account. And then you can pick them for pay in 4

I did 3 transactions. 2 for $500 and 1 for $250. It should still technically work right, neither deal was a one time use right? I never left the disney site, just kept shopping if that matters.

Yes, I had a Disney branded chase card. It could have been user error but I didn't see it have an option to change and the credit card is the default for online transactions so in theory it should have been the first option. Not really too concerned. I have the funds in the checking account and I'm only missing out on 1% for a paypal charge to my credit card anyway. Although I do like the addded protection credit cards can give.

You're doing it correct. Select pay later and continue on.

It was the recipients email address in the personalization section. Two are correct and one is incorrect. I got an email for each order saying it was being delivered but only 2 emails with the cards.

Has anyone ever had experience with this? I wonder what they do if they can't deliver the card. Cancel? Or give ma ann option to correct the email address? I don't see anything online.

I guess I will call and see if there is anything they can do. I can't be the only one that has done this.
