My 1000 points from PayPal completely posted today. Was able to cash out $10 to my account.

Mine did too…. I have a question about PayPal actually I thought maybe I’d try to start doing some more shopping through there, but do they not have some kind of search function where you can just search for the store you’re wanting to shop at to see if they have it in their list.

When did you guys place your original order? Just wondering approximately how many days before the PayPal points post.

I could go for another $1,250 worth of DGCs (I have 2 upcoming trips and an AP renewal) so I would definitely use them. Decisions, decisions. I guess the WORST CASE is that I only save the 2% on my credit card .

I did see someone explain how the dining dollars works, so I'm not addressing that.

I'm sure you've noticed, but just in case - one day tickets cost more on Undercover Tourist than buying direct from disney, so you'll need to decide if the $40 dining dollars credit ends up with a savings.

Thanks. I am aware of the price difference but if for some reason the $40 credit actually translated to $40 off a GC, I thought it would be worth it. In the end, I believe it was better for me to use the $30 Travelocity discount since their prices are the same as Disney.

I haven't been able to log into DGC site since I bought the gift cards from Sam's. I've tried different devices, reboots, incognito and still get an error message.

I know I'm only a single data point, but I haven't had any trouble logging into and using the DGC site since the Sam's offer. We bought 4 DGC from Sam's and another 5 from Target with the $10 Target GC offer, so I've logged in more than once.

Have a trip for the holidays mid December, this is fantastic timing if it works out.

$1250 (for $875) purchased and show as pending under reward center. Still havent gotten egift card email (been 20 mins)

Got $1000 (for $855) on the target gift card deal as well. Already have 2026 DVC dues prepaid so that's solid win.

Off topic question but do people add these to e-wallets for use in the park or get a physical gift card and transfer balances? Wasnt sure how prevalent NFC pay stations are for sit down meals. Dont love the idea of a bunch of money on a physical card to lose...

I purchase $25 egift cards on shop disney and when you get the email, there is a button to add to your apple wallet (or Google Wallet). I purchase different designs and keep track in my notes app on which is which. The balance does not update in apple wallet so you have to track that yourself. You can also screenshot the barcode if you don't want to use a wallet, and then show that barcode. At restaurants they usually carry my phone over or I go over to the register, I can't exactly remember, I do usually have one physical card to make life easier at table service. Note that at least with apple wallet, they scan the barcode, it's not NFC.

I try to buy a new $25 card for every trip just to keep things fresh and minimize the total transactions in case something goes wrong, I can more easily provide proof of purchase. I always have an empty one in my wallet too that I can transfer funds to quickly if needed. For all the ecards I have, I personally don't consolidate them until I'm ready to go on a trip. That way if one got compromised, I know exactly which one. So I have a huge running list of cards with funds, and then a few cards in my wallet ready to consolidate those cards onto when I have a trip!

FYI, some users may not be able to use the pay later for multiple transactions. I have this issue and when I try to place a second one the option isn’t available. Hoping it resets at some point.

Same here. But I ordered physical gift cards and they have not yet shipped.

Same here. But I ordered physical gift cards and they have not yet shipped.

Seems like a good time for an update on my Disney Store gift card experience that I posted about a few pages ago.

I bought a gift card on 11/7
Label created on 11/11
No further update despite 2 calls as of yesterday.

Today, the USPS tracking number finally shows movement. Cards were received at a MN facility on 11/17 at 5:23. Its showing updates since then as it moves through t system with an expected delivery date of 11/22,

So basically over 2 weeks from when I ordered it, it is now expected. Customer service said it can take 2 weeks for a gift card even though the website says delivery normally in 3-5 business days with an extra 2-3 for gift cards.

Having said that, the 3 gift cards I ordered from the Disney Store on 11/13 also hit the USPS MN site on the morning of 11/18 and are expected to be here by 11/24. So you never know. Looks almost like they only get pickups or drop off at the USPS a couple of times a week or less. Or these were just delayed for some reason.

After all the handwringing about giftcards.com shipments, how much do you want to bet I get those before I get the ones from the Disney Store, lol?!

Which will mean I will have to hold on for a few days before I can transfer the value to the Disney Store gift cards. Not happy, but nothing I can do about it.

Regardless, at least they are on their way.

I may get a couple of Disney gift cards in the parks in January just to bring home and use as a 'clean' cards instead of having to order from Disney in the future. Think I can get them in $15 increment that way also of memory serves.

When you login to Paypal go to the Rewards tab and scroll down. You should see 20% cash back offer

The language says per transaction, but it’s been confirmed that it’s the total for the promotion.

I'm not familiar with Pay in 4, is that how you have to agree to pay in order to get rewards? I have the Paypay Credit which is no interest if paid within 6 months, would that work as well?
When I hit Pay Later it gives me the option of my credit card stored or the Paypal Credit but it says nothing about 4 payments

I assume you need the PayPal credit card to put it on a card. It wouldn’t allow me to use a credit card, only a bank, for pay later.

I used a US Bank Triple cash that I am working on a SUB. It would not let me choose the Chase Ink that i am also working on SUB

it shows a max 1.5billion points to be issued for the promo and as much as people are hitting this It won't last until 12/8 is my guess.

Wow. This PayPal deal is phenomenal if it tracks. Looks like the 10% Disney Store offer is only good for another 7 days. I've never used PayPal offers before. Will we even have a data point in the next 7 days or does it take longer for these offers to be confirmed?

I did this in Oct/Nov 2024 and the PayPal points paid out after 60 days. YMMV. Good luck to everyone this year!

We didn't get it either - wondering how it was targeted - we've never used our Amex cards at BJs, so perhaps that was part of it. I agree I would be annoyed if I had a Plat that didn't get it!

We use our BPP frequently and didn't receive one on any our cards so not sure it matters.
