Mousesavers is reporting that August 14 will be for DisneyLAND.

A very reliable website lists August 14 as the rumored date for WDW discounted packages. Last year, it was the August 16, which was a Thursday, so that seems consistent.

That website has been accurate as far as i recall.

Do you mean the Disney Visa code will come out the same day as the general public code? Will it be a better deal then? If not, what's the point??

so you said deal on packages...hmmmm....I was just on the phone with a cm who told me (when I was trying to book my pincode) to wait until Thursday that there was a "rumor" something better would come out....can anyone elaborate. My luck it will not work with what I need...UGH.

I do have an AP and Disney Visa, I am just concerned that I will not be able to get the BC or something in that area...

You could always do a room only or whatever with the PIN and convert to the code if it comes out, can't you?

Mary from MouseSavers posted on another thread that she doesn't have that on her website. She said that offer has been around for awhile and she is waiting for codes just as the rest of us are.

A code can be added to an existing reservation, provided avaliability.

Just wondering what kind of discount was the PIN for? I got one today and when I called it appears that it was for about 30%. It'll be interesting to see if the code that comes out can beat that.

from MY knowledge(don't say it's FACT! ) codes go out FIRST for Disney Visa card holders, and a week later for the general public. every offer we ever took advantage of, the week dif. didn't seem to matter.... including free dining.
all of us dissers are SO in tune, we forget... there are TONS of people who have .. NO CLUE!!! so don't sweat it.
last year, I read on the free dining thread that the code would be out on a friday at 6 AM (or was it 7AM> it's all a blur to me) so I worked on thur. till 1 AM, set my alarm... got on the computer, got the code,,, waited on the phone for an hour, made my ressies, then collapsed in bed... too excited to sleep... to get up at 10 AM for my day job! Hubby said I was NUTZ...

Great point... I sometimes forget the rest of the world isn't even paying attention to this stuff! Of course I know that all of you will be enjoying you vacations and waving at me while laughing that you paid significantly less than me DH flipped when I told him I was worried about having to spend the night in the hospital b/c I'd miss the 14th to be ready for a code....told me not to worry about the whole code thing and to just deal with my surgery and that he couldn't give a rats-patootie about whether we save a dime [love that man!]

Here I am feeling so lucky that I don't work tomorrow so I can get in on the package discount action. Now I feel even luckier I won't be "post-op groggy". Best wishes to you, hope everything turns out fine.

Are these codes rumored to be "package discount" or "room only" codes? I'd prefer room only codes but I'm going to assume they will be the package discounts where you have to buy tickets for everyone on the reservation. Any opinions?
