New Discounts...can I change from FD Package to room only discount?

Hi,

I'm thinking that we could probably do better with a room discount instead of the FD package.

We're currently booked at CSR - 2 rooms - 2 adults in room #1, 1 adult in room #2 with FD package/6 day park hoppers & trip insurance.

We really don't want FD...we just don't need that much food!

If the discounts that are released (hopefully?) tomorrow, are in the range of 30-40% off...we would probably rather switch our reservation to get a room discount instead of FD.

Would we be able to do this? Would the reservation still be considered a package? (We would still like to keep our tickets & insurance).

We might consider switching our resort too...thinking about WL or an Epcot area resort. Oh, no...here I go again!

discount is available for your timeframe and they have rooms open at CSR with that discount then, yes, you can switch discounts. Just call, people do it all the time.

I just switched our free dining to a 40% pin code. Very easy, and the CM ran the numbers to tell me which was cheaper before changing it for me.
