We are doing unlimited dining and I’m debating canceling our embarkation day lunch to go to the seafood buffet. Is it worth the madness of the windjammer while everyone boards?

We decided to try it. If anyone is interested let me know and I can do a review.

I would love to hear about it! I just replied to your food review. We're doing the same itinerary in August. I can check in our group on Thursday. Can't wait!!

There is a fantastic seafood buffet lunch on embarkation day at the Solarium Bistro (hint-also open for breakfast).

Any tips for Coco Cay? We'll have a toddler with us, so we're not doing the water park or any of the paid areas. Is there a shuttle from the ship? How about around the island?

The island is beautiful! The do have a tram, they also had beach strollers. There were lots of life jackets so you don’t have to bring one.

They had several options I think would work well. There is an adorable splash pad, a pool, and a lagoon area that didn’t have waves. There is also gorgeous beaches but depending on the waves that day those may be hard on a little one.

I would recommend getting off the ship early for a good spot wherever you choose. There are lots of seats but they do fill up by mid morning.

Most of the seats are set up as a group of 4 with an umbrella in the center.

Lunch is served starting at 11. The larger areas are buffets with hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, and tacos (chicken, steak, pulled pork snd beans) plus a topping station. Plus fruit, salads and corn.

The smaller snack shacks have hotdogs, burgers, chicken sandwiches, funnel cake, and mozzarella sticks

There is soft serve ice cream and cookies

We had the tacos. They were really good.
