You really know what you are doing!

I will be sending a picture as soon as I go thru them all and find one that actually has my whole family in it! Uusually DH or I are taking the pictures, which always leaves one of us out!
I'm going to look at Disney pictures now............

Kimmar, you are just too much! Those pics are getting more extreme;)

There are hair dryers in the room. It is on the wall plugged in. You just have to turn it on to use it.

Majestic. You really are something. You seem to have a busy work schedule like my husband. Sometimes he's gone from 8am to 10pm. or midnight. There have even been times, he's been gone all day and night, come back in the am for about 4 hours and is off again. He does it all so I can stay home with our son and those WONDERFUL BEAUTIFUL PEACEFUL DISNEY TRIPS.

He even makes them happen after he says we aren't going on vacation this year. Even though it is only back to DXL I mean POR, I'm not complaining. I will miss WL and Sturdy Branches (the Gym).

Wish we were going to be there when you and your family are there for the meet.

Wishing everyone a wonderful night and a Magical Trip to Disney.

Diane

Rugratsmom - What a terrific idea to use a cooler for a carry-on! I love that!
All of the input from everyone on the fridge rental was great! A cooler will be the way to go for us! And thanks for easing my worries about the minibar! Just didn't want the kids to be helping themselves and sending our bill through the roof!

Blue Fairy - Loved your Calif. Grill review! I'll keep our PS and let ya'll know if I agree or not! Looking forward to it at any rate!

Great to know you can use the Cub's Den during the day! Will be a nice diversion for them if needed!

Thanks All!

It's rought sometimes but I want to do what I can to make extra cash. I really do enjoy my side work though. :) Last night I came home to my daughter sleeping as usual. I couldn't help but think that I had not seen her awake since Monday night. Left for work Tuesday morning (Julia still sleeping) and did my usual 8am to 5pm shift then went straight to Radio Shack for 5:30pm to 9:30pm. Then I drive home 40 minutes or so. Get in the door around 10:15pm. Julia is sleeping. Then Wednesday, same routine. Leave home she's sleeping....come home she's sleeping. Just that alone makes me want to quit the second job.

My wife does still work two days a week part time but the rest of the time is spent at home with my daughter.

Fred

If you think that impressed you, take a second look at the photos I am posting. I already added the one you sent me. :)

As for me knowing what I am doing, all I can say is I won't argue with you on that one. :) I take extreme pride in what I do and without sounding too cocky, I do my job well.

Like I said, if you or anyone here needs a place to do email or host a business or personal website, let me know. I will give any DIS'rs a discount of some type.

I am also available by phone or in person for any Network/Wireless Network, Telco, or Computer consulting.

Sorry for the blatant advert. :) THAT'S MY FLUFF for the night!

While I'm happy that you obviously enjoyed yourself at Cali Grill, I personally would rather spend the $300+ on a meal at Palio (S/D), Le Cellier(Canada-World Showcase), or Fishbones(Sand Lake Rd, near Universal), but that's JMHO. BTW ~ I just ADORE your "fluff", so keep it comin':teeth: !

Fred, you are the man. That is awesome. I am going up to my DD in NC this weekend and she takes a lot of pics at WDW, I 'll see what she has and send one for post.

Thanks for me and all us WL nuts.

BLUSH!

Looking forward to the pics. I'm glad that I am doing something everyone will enjoy.

Keep those pictures coming everyone!

I wish I could send ya a family pic, but I haven't figger'd how ta get my photos uploaded/downloaded/sideloaded/ WHATEVER!!!

Go to Walmart ot Kmart and have them put on a CD and you can pull them up on screen. If you have a Photo Editor, ' like MS, you can size, crop and other neat stuff

Majestic great work with photos!! You know besides seeing the people we converse with daily, it will be neat to see the different venues their pictures have been taken in!!

Thanks

Arly

...they already are loaded in my computer in a file. I just can't retrieve them from that file. When I try to copy and paste them, it doesn't work.....:(

When you say that you would not do that again, was it because of the cost or some other reason. We are facing that baby formula problem and since we are flying in, just figured we would have to get the frig.

Well now that the baby is out of the formula stage, I won't plan on renting a fridge in the future! If you plan on staying 1 week or longer, a plug-in mini cooler may be the way to go. Target has them for less than $50. Atleast, you would be able to use it again!

Fred,

I will try to get you a pic this weekend....thanks for the setup for us!

rugratsmom66.....we are in the North Hills:)

NJFabFour - I am so glad you will keep your PS. I hope that you enjoy it as much as we do. At the very least, I think everyone should give it a try.

Kimmar067 - To each his own, I guess. Mind you, we wouldn't normally spend that much at CG. (Not that any visit there is routine). Our dinner was a gift from DH's employer, so we pulled out all the stops. Usually our bill is around $100 for 2. DH and I will have to put Palio on our list. We'll get to Le Cellier eventually, but I never have been interested in venturing offsite.
You can be sure I will have more fluff to add when we return in about 40 days.

Speaking of which, we got our confirmation and luggage tags in the mail today!!!!!! Yea!!!

Way cool! Ain't it the truth that a meal seems to taste SO MUCH BETTER when someone else is footin' da bill???!?!?:teeth: I got my luggage tags a few weeks ago....*sigh* too bad I can't use 'em (we'd be leaving TODAY; my countdown thingie would say "0 DAYS" by now!!:( )

Fred - The pics are coming along great! It really IS nice to put a name to a face. I can sympathize with you on your job(s). I'm an IT Manager - which I swear will cut my life in half :p

Where abouts in Central Jersey are you?

Kimmar - can you email the family pic to Fred instead?

Ok, I am going to share with you a story that I though was awsome. See, this family was concerned about going to the world with thier 15 month old daughter. Mia decided to post a message to r.a.d.p and got tons of negative criticism and emails saying it was cruel to take a child to disney world in the July heat.

I wrote back and forth to her in private emails about our experiences last year in July.

Long story short, I just got this yesterday in my email. It made me feel really good. I know that I made a difference with all my help and that is a GREAT feeling.

Mia gave me permission to repost her email here so I could share it with all of you, my "other" Disney family.

So this is what many of the cast members must feel like every day.

Hi Fred,

Yes, sorry I haven't written, we print items for high school football and this is my crazy time. Anyway, we had a wonderful time. It was hot, but we took it slow and she had a blast. She loved the fireworks probably most of all, she called them boom boom and held her hand in the air!! It was awesome. She liked It's A Small World, Winnie the Pooh, & Peter Pan. By the end of the week, I had her sitting by herself on the seat next to me and she held on tight. She acted all grown up!!!!

The best part of the week was when we were at Toon Town and she walked 3 unaided steps to Chip and Dale!!!! Her first steps alone. I almost cried and almost couldn't take the picture. They responded to our excitement in her autograph book with "Happy Walking". Which I thought was extra special. She did good with her afternoon naps and on our off day she slept until 9:00 am!!! Of course I was up at 6:00!!!!!! We talked about going back for her 2nd birthday, but we'll have to see, we may be going to Germany to see a friend of ours graduate from medical school (former exchange student).

Thank you so much for your words of encouragement, they were ringing in my ears all week. I really wanted to post a trip report, but haven't had a chance, I might start one on my work computer and transfer it later. The one thing I learned rather quickly was, do buffets. She is so little, she doesn't eat much at any meal and I was paying a huge sum for kids meals and she wasn't eating them. She did much better from a buffet where I could give her variety. I hope you have a great trip and I must say I envy you, it will be a glorious time to be in Florida. Maybe one day in my old age, I can skip town during September, but I don't allow my employees to, so I must live by my rules. We are actually headed to New Orleans labor day weekend, so we're excited about that. I'm nervous about flying with the new heightened security and possible threats, but we can't live in a shell.

Have a safe trip and let me know if I can answer any questions.
