Hello WL lovers! I'm working my way through the thread, but at 40 pages and being early in the am it will take me a while.

One question I have is - when does the geyser go off? Is it on a certain schedule, or every 30 minutes, or....????

Starts at 7:00 AM. Goes off on the hour to 10:00 PM, altho that may change during the season. Not sure.

Wow! I haven't heard anything about it. Did someone say something to the parents as they sat there? I hope so. Unfortunetly I could write a book about things we see happen that makes you wonder.

I too am upset about the duck. That is why I was asking again about it. I can guaranty if I was there the parents and the child would have gotten an earful. At times I do speak my mind.

I love animals, as I had wrote in my other posts, when I stayed at WL and ran from WL to FW I use to see a little bunny. It was great first thing in the morning to go and do my run and see the little thing sitting there. Almost like he was waiting for me. I also enjoy seeing the deer on the road ways. I just worry about them getting hit.


Well unfortunately we won't be staying at WL this coming trip. Just lucky to be going at all.

What tied my shorts in a knot is th look of awe on the faces of the little people as the Ducks got into the pool. I am sure none had a real life experince like that before only to have one inconsiderate person ruin it for them.

FloridaCat: when we were there in December, the pool was empty except for a duck and her babies, Our DS 6 at the time thought it was so cool. He didn't want to bother them, he just had his dad and I take pictures of them. He too is an animal lover. I think it would have been so awesome to be swimming and then see them in there with us. Of course being from south FL, it was a bit too cold to go swimming when we were there. I believe one day it was 38º. Way too cold for me.

hello all lodgers,

ok, i am off the boards for a day (friday) and come back to read all my subscribed posts (especially wl faq), and low and behold i notice i have a new tag!!!!! wl vet!!!!

i am psyched, thank you so so very very much tag fairy. you keep making my life and days brighter. now i feel truely wanted.

also, the reason i was not on the boards yesterday was because my wonderful husband, took me to disney world for the day (for my birthday, which is 7/28 but he could only get friday off from work). anyway, he had a ton of surprises, full of disney magic for me yesterday).

it started with a trip to disney world (magic kingdom). i was told in the morning to bring a sun dress and somethings to freshen up because he had something planned for the evening. ok, he didn't let on he was very sneaky. we were going to leave about 8 or 9 in the morning, but i wound up being called back for a second interview on a job (it went very well, and hopefully i will finally get a job). anyway, we didn't leave for wdw until about noon, got to the magic kingdom about 1:30 p.m. well, while we were in the parking lot he tells me to wait and not rush into the park. he goes into the trunk and pulls out an envelope with a birthday card in it. hands it to me and i read it.....

prelude (we originally were supposed to go and spend the weekend at wdw but because i had lost my job we had to cancel and also we had to cancel dinner at artist point because we were trying to save money to pay bills) ok, now here is the rest of the story ... in the card, i found a lottery ticket that was worth $400. and a note that said "i learned that God is always going to take care of us. you see my dh had gone to get lottery tickets two weeks ago (right when i had cancelled the trip) and wound up winning money! so he figured to keep some for bills but also to give me at least part of my birthday present. in the card was a reservation priority seating number for artist point for 7p.m. i could not believe my eyes, i truely love him so much.

boy i tell you the pixie dust was all over us that day. it was truely magical. even when we were leaving the magic kingdom, it was starting to get windy because of a storm coming and my dh and i figured we go to the wl and hang out. while we were leaving we stopped to look at the castle, and a huge wind came and one of the trees we were standing under had all these beautiful very tiny pink flowerson it. well the wind blew the flowers off the tree and sprinkled them all over us. i looked at my dh with tears in my eyes and said that we have just been magically sprinkled with pixie dust. i couldn't believe it.

so we went to wl and sat in the lobby for a little while to cool off, went changed and freshened up. then went to territory lounge for a glass of wine and an appetizer of fruit and cheese. then went to artist point for dinner, had a wonderful window seat over looking the courtyard. i couldn't have asked for more.

just wanted to share this with my friends here at DIS.
