Long ago (7 years ago) my wife, daughter and I were regulars at WDW. When my daughter turned 16 we started cruising for vacations. As much as I enjoy cruising, I miss Disney world. I have convinced the "women to blame" to do an adults trip to WDW. We are planning to stay at the Yacht club (our favorite resort). In looking over Disbords it appears that a lot has changed in the last few years. I need information, what has changed, what has stayed the same? Does EPCOT still have illuminations every night? My favorite rides were Space mountain and splash mountain. My wife's favorite ride was Rockin roller coaster. Favorite restaurants were Biergartan, Le Celier, The table service in Japan. Any information about changes would be appreciated.

Illuminations is still every night-weather dependent. Your favorite restaurants are still there-though there have been some menu changes. Allears.net has complete up to date menus. Your favorite rides are still there. There have been some big changes-mostly at MK-new fantasy land. Epcot is pretty static. The test track update is the only new thing there. DHS-Midway Mania may be the only new ride that I can think of since you were last there. AK-no huge changes-Lion King moved and Camp Minnie Mickey is going to make way for Avatar land though that has not happened yet. That sums up all I can think of...

Le Cellier has had a couple changes. The lunch menu has changed & lunch is 2 credits instead of 1 on the dining plan.

Everything you need to plan your trip is linked through My Disney Experience so you'll need to set up an account if you haven't already: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/plan/

Also, FastPass+ is now the only way to get a Fastpass for attractions. Everything can be reserved online now & if you need to make changes in the parks for a different time or attraction, there are Cast Members available to assist at kiosks or you can make the change yourself on your Smartphone. There is a really good thread on here if you haven't come across it yet & everything you need to know about it is explained: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3143281
