Nemo is one of the slowest boarding ride cycles in the park. (compare it to Dumbo or Astro Orbiter). If it had fastpass the line would be even WORSE than it is now.
Disney managers have gotten wise to fast pass, good idea in theory .. valid for some types of rides.. but not for EVERY ride. Hence they took it out of HM, Star Tours, Pirates, Small World Holiday.. all rides that load in massive amounts of people per hour. Take away fast pass, the standby lines actually got shorter!
Another tip.. they start the line way back by Matterhorn, save yourself a few steps in your morning race to the ride.. head towards Mattterhorn not to the actual ride in TL.
My husband and children are eager to experience Nemo.. but now that we live an hour away, we can wait until off season.
Meanwhile we have greatly enjoyed the lack of lines for Peter Pan, Toad, Buzz and Space Mountain

The map on-line doesn't even have the Nemo ride. Where is it exactly? So if we run toward the mattahorn - should we go to the outside (right side of it)...

No. This is exactly what you don't want to do. Here are perfect directions and if you go the right way, there will be CMs to guide you as well:
1. Run down Main Street
2. Keep going towards the castle, but veer off to the right just before
3. The path there (parade route) will take you around the Fantasyland side of Matterhorn (here CMs will guide you)
4. The entrance to the line is in the old smoking section behind the Matterhorn
However the actual ride is located right below the Monorail station and next to the Tomorrowland Matterhorn side. But basically if you aren't the first ones in the park, just follow most of the other people.
