Has anyone bought cases of water at Hess? I know their cokes are reasonable but we need bottled water. I will not have a car and fear that a taxi will be way too much. Any ideas appreciated.

I ordered a couple of cases from COSTCO online the last time I went. I ordered them around 7 days before I was due to check in and they were waiting for me when I got there. I think I paid around 20.00 - 22.00 total for the 2 cases. Expensive for water but probably cheaper than a taxi or paying WDW prices for water.

Check out the web site wegoshop.com They will do the shopping for you. I am going to use their services when we go in September. I believe you pay $20 for groceries under $100. And you can tell them what store you want them to shop at for you. It sounds really awesome to me.

How far is the walk from POP to the Hess station. All I need is water and some soda.

Hess is across the street from Downtown Disney area. You would have to take Disney transportation to Downtown then walk across the street closer to Pleasure Island.

I think I'll go with them. I hate to waste park time shopping anyway.
Thanks for the help. Only 14 days to go ::MickeyMo

:thumbsup2 That's always my argument--how many hours in WDW do you have, and how much is that time worth to you? $10 an hour? $20 an hour? My dh always says his vacation time is worth double his regular salary, so why waste it going to the grocery store? It makes the delivery fee practically negligable when you look at it that way.

wegoshop.com--never used them, but have heard good things.

gardengrocer.com--used them last year, loved it. $12 fee (free if over a certain amount, $150 I think), and you can get groceries, water, toiletries, sunscreen, diapers, etc.

costco.com--a new trend here on the dis. Free delivery for business orders, and business orders include breakroom supplies, like water, granola bars, etc.

Good luck!

I had 2 cases of water shipped to the resort from costco in June. It was free shipping. I paid $16.00. I thought that was cheap when you figure time, convienence and if I had paid shipping.

When do you order it? 2 or 3 days prior and what happens if it gets there before you do? Thanks!

With gardengrocer (and probably wegoshop, too) you pick the delivery date. With costco, if you can't choose a delivery date, I'd just do it a few days before you arrive. We've shipped stuff (and ordered stuff to be shipped) to ourselves at the resort, and if it arrives before you do, they hold it for you. We always put our reservation # and arrival/check-in date on the front of the package or somewhere in the ship to address.

Congrats on the upgrade-enjoy your trip!
