Need Vero help

Hi guys...

I need some Vero Beach info. First where is the Wal-Mart? We would like to stop on the way in. We will be driving from Orlando. Second, do the have sand castle building toys at the resort or should we get them at Vero? Only 4 more days until we are there. I'm so excited I can't wait. This will be our first trip there.

Don't know about the walmart - but they do have beach toys available to buy at the store in the Inn - and if you buy kids meals at the pool snack bar, the food comes in a sandbucket with a shovel attached.

When you hit Hwy 1 in Sebastain instead of turning right turn left and the Wal Mart is up the road on the right hand side. They do have kids meals in pails with shovels, but if you want something more elaborate I would probably pick it up at Wal Mart. Have a great time - we LOVE Vero.

The Walmart is on US1............from Orlando taking I-95 route..

Follow I-95 South to 512 East - exit 69(New:156) Sebastian/Fellsmere.

Turn left/east on 512 to US 1 (6.5 miles).
Turn right/south on US 1 to 510 (4.5 miles)....the Walmart will be on your right while you are going south on US1.

There is a Publix a lot closer. Plus Publix does abuse their employees the way WalMart does; Publix actually pays overtime when their employees work > 40 hours, and doesn't force them to work it unpaid. Publix employees also haven't had to sue their employer on multiple occasions to get them to abide by basic health and safety standards...
