except going to DD - then you can walk to it in a shorter time that the DD bus will take you.

We also use the bus to go everywhere except Downton Disney. If we want to go to another resort to dine (DH loves the Yachtsman Steakhouse) we walk to Downtown Disney and take a bus from there.

we took the water taxi ever chance we got to DTD it was beautiful and relaxing.

We like the fact that at SSR (and OKW too) we can park our rental car right outside our unit. Very convenient.

Absolutely the bus. They go to all of the parks, water parks and Downtown Disney. For Downtown Disney, if you don't want to walk or take the bus, the ferry is another option. If you are in a building far enough away and don't want to walk to the ferry, just hop a bus, any bus, and get off at the Springs stop. Then it's a short walk through Artist's Pallete to the ferry.

The other option when going to the resort hotels for dinner or other activities is taking a cab. It is not that expensive and will take less time than walking to DTD and waiting there for a bus.

We take the bus to the parks, walk to DTD and if we want to got to the EPCOT Parks we take our rental car adn use the free valet parking at the BWV's and walk from there.
