We were just there Feb 7-Feb 10th this year and had weather in the mid 70's. We wore shorts and tshirts with light sweaters for the mornings. We did lots of swimming too although the weather at that time of year can vary greatly.

We've gone a few times at this time a year, prepare for everything. Some days are shorts and T-shirts, others, pants and jackets....spring jackets not winter jackets. The problem with this time of year is mornings and evenings are often cooler and the afternoons warm/hot so you need to layer and strip as the day goes on. Of course, 2006 is a long way off and theres no way of knowing the weather patterns so far in advance. You can't even trust the 10 day forecasts this time of year, the weather is very unpredictible

We were there January 19-24, weather mainly high 60s daytime and high 30s nighttime. Lined and unlined jogging suits worked great for us, unlined with tees for warmer days and lined with turtlenecks for cooler days. (Liked the jogging suits especially since I figured they'd dry quickly in case we got wet which indeed we did). DH and I brought our polartec vests to put on at night but I brought heavier polartec lined pullover jackets for the kids to put on at night. Kept mittens and hats in my bag but only wore them once. One day we wore shorts when it was mid 70s daytime and had to change into warmer clothers later on (regretted packing a lot of shorts).

Kids swam in heated pools but the air was too cold for DH and I. Agree weather can fluctuate different years. HTH, I'd asked the same question. (On our way to the airport from home the temp reading in the car was -2 and there was a blizzard while we were gone). :cold:

We were there January 14th - 25th and it was very cool. We had to wear jackets everyday. In the morning and evenings it was low 40's to the high 30's. We used blankets for Fantasmic! Be prepared for anything! We have gone twice in January now and I have decided I prefer to to be warm in May or June.

Have fun!

For the most part, during that time of year the temperature ranges from about 40 at night/early morning to 65 mid-afternoon. However, winter weather in Florida is unpredictable, and it is not unusual of for it to get down in the 30's and up to the high 70's/low 80's. You can't even make an educated guess until about a week before you leave, then you can see what is forecast.

I have been twice in February & one of the times I got sick.

It was too chilly for me. I hated having to wear pants & a light coat. Coming to Florida from New England I wanted hot weather & I didn't get it.

But my friend one year when 2 weeks after me & it was in the 70's for her which she liked I need blazing sun & humidity to enjoy Disney (I am serious).
