Need tickets for MNSSHP

it's 5 tickets (besides the one for the military member)
^^^^THIS ^^^^

I'm not speaking officially. But the impression I got is that all the MIL NNSP discounts were available for prior to Oct 1. I don't think the discounts are available now.

The only exception is for just the military family to be taken same day on a sold out, and that is a VERY special circumstance. I don't believe the idea is for that family to turn around and sell their exception-made tickets. It is a courtesy to them. Not speaking officially though.

Ok, thank you all so much for all the information.

I am really desperate in finding just 2 tickets. I made a mistake promising my 7 year old son we would be going to the party... I would ve bought earlier but since this is a last minute ( cheap flight tickets) ,.. and I had to wait for my pay check to come in to buy the tickets! So ... I'll try on the Facebook group . If anybody knows any other options...

I would be really thankful!

I appreciate that someone might really really want to get into a sold out party. Believe me, I do. I wanted to go to a particular MVMCP last year (our last night, so the following night wasn't an option), and I was really disappointed when I called to buy tickets and found out it was sold out. But imho the solution is not to take advantage of a benefit that Disney is providing for service members. It's akin to the situation where some people were hiring disabled individuals to go to the park with them so they could skip the lines. If Disney hasn't already cracked down on this, I'm sure they will.

Can anyone confirm that military can for sure get tickets that day? When I called they told me this was only for select party dates in September. I know they're notorious for giving out bad info but I bought full priced tickets because I didn't want to chance getting there and not being able to get tickets.

OP, I'm asking DH to call and inquire. If they confirm that we can get day of military tickets, I'm hoping we can cancel our current tickets for that date and get a refund. I'll post here if this happens because that should free up three tickets for that night.

That would be great if you would get the tickets there cheaper! And that it would have tickets available. I don't know if you would call Disney and tell them you know somebody that needs 2 tickets, and that they could be linked to MDE... Soooo hoping!!! :-)

I understand this , I really do... But why don't they do something about all those people buying tickets and selling them with huge benefits on Ebay? I think that's even worse. That way, people who really want to go, can't get in... I wouldn't mind paying the normal price at all,.. Since military can get in the day itself, why can't other people who show up that day and just pay the regular price...

I agree, there are tickets for Halloween night on there for $175 EACH. That's just insane.

I've never looked into this stuff but this is what comes up when I search on Facebook:

Completely different issue.

Why? Because general public MNSSHP tickets are first come first serve to anyone/everyone and Disney sets no limits.

The $175+ general public MNSSHP tickets on eBay you are referring to are for 10/31.

On-site military MNSSHP tickets do not apply to 10/31.

Again, on-site military MNSSHP tickets are reserved and limited to members of military and their friends/family as a courtesy to them and their schedules...and it's really not fair to plead to them on FB because you (generally speaking) missed out on opportunity that's been available to you since April...

I had the same thought. If this starts being a source for non-military to get tickets, the rules will get tighter.

Yes this is true. For instance I have purchased tickets for the now sold out 11/1 date. I knew my group wanted to attend this party and even though my DH is retired military and *could* get same day tickets, I wanted to purchase in advance since my dates were solid. On the other hand, my DS (who is also active duty military) may be able to join us that weekend and if so, we plan have him purchase the same day ticket (which is also why we didn't choose 10/31). Since he's not sure he will be able to get a 4 day pass, we didn't buy him a ticket in advance. This is one reason they allow exceptions for military members--many times they don't know their schedule until close to travel dates, and other times they could get their leave cancelled at the last minute.

Will you still be at WDW on 11/8? Maybe you could go to the first Christmas Party?
