As silly as this sounds, I have no idea where to get the best deals on "home stuff".

You ask me where to get shoes, a great cocktail dress, the best lipgloss ~ I'm your woman! Stuff to decorate your home? I'm a store wandering idiot.

I bought all new bedding and spent WAY too much, cuz I just didn't know. I ended up seeing sets I liked at Penney's for like a 1/4 of the price I spent. Ugh! I love what I got, but I didn't need to spend that much. I used a coupon...I thought I did well. Oye!

Annnnnyways...... I need a love seat slip cover. The seat is in amazing condition, but it's a dark sagey green conflicting with a stunning "cabarnet brown" Italian leather coach my g/f was kind enough to give me, when she re-did her home. (I'm gonna link a pic, in a sec). It inspired me to change a lot of it up, and now I have a ~Wilderness Lodgey~ look I'm working towards.

Where the hell do I get a cheap (I don't care about *quality* - I have dogs allowed to lay alllll over everywhere) love seat cover??

The part I like....(the great, yet green, love seat is to the left)

have you tried Bed Bath and Beyond (or similar store)? Also department stores that sell furniture, like JCP will also carry slip covers. If you can get a good idea of what you want by browsing the stores, you can then go online and find better pricing and probably more selection.

Brylanehome.com and domestications.com

But yeah, since you like JC Penney products, I'd try there first.

Its not like I like or dislike Penney's stuff ~ I just want cheap!

Thanks ~ I'll check them all out.

I wish I could sew.......:headache:

I got my sofa slip cover at either BB&B or Target - I can't remember. The biggest pain was ironing it - to get all the packaging folds out of it.

My Mom got me a sofa slip cover that has kind of a 'leather look' to it - it's fabric, but from a distance it could be leather. I think she got it at Kohls.

LOL, CR, I'm the polar opposite of you. Don't give a crap about fashion but could hook up a house like Candice Olsen! :lmao: Everytime someone moves in to a property in my family they invite me over! ;)

Surefit sells on eBay and online. I bought some good ones from Big Lots last year, too. Target is my favorite because they have such a good return policy and unlike the others, they have better quality.

Good luck!

I have to be the "one". So fine. You managed a picture of Charlie. Where is Hazel? I must say - as these are my two fav pits - it has been way too long since you've posted pictures. (And I hope I got their names correct - IT HAS BEEN THAT LONG!)

Sorry - I cannot help with the slip cover.

But darn it all - could you post a few pics of the dogs?

Robin ~ so when you coming by? ;)

And the dawgies ~

She insists on sleeping all on top of *anyone*.....poor Charley. She's sleeping! Weirdo!

Alright....now go hunt me down a slip cover. :p

OMG your dogs are so sweet and are beautiful.

As far as home things, I would try, Pennys, Kohls', BB&B, Sears check the catologs.

But if you are up to it, Big lots, Ross, Marshalls some times have some really good deals. But you have to dig.

You can check the farbic stores like Jo anns or Hobby Lobby some times they have different things.

If you want one made to order, try your local dry cleaner if they have a seamtress on site, My friend had new pillows made for her couch, she bought the fabric, thread and details, It was not that expensive and she got what she wanted.

Do you have Homegoods where you are? I have good luck there with house stuff. :thumbsup2

Thank you so much for posting pics!!! I'll be good now until about Valentine's day...As usual...they are still adorable!!!

target always has sales, jcpennies and BBB you often get coupons/special deals if you keep your eyes open. my ex roomie had a faux brown suede one she got at walmart, it looked nice but got really stretchie for some reason.

for the best deal i think pennies may be the best bet. the stuff i buy there always lasts and you can still score awesome stuff on clearance.
