Need some help/advice on my SSR checkin on 11/24

Hi all,

We are planning on checking in to SSR on 11/24 for a 3 day stay. We will be moving from Bonnett Creek Resort. We plan on doing Epcot that day.

Here are my questions:

1.) When we check out of BCR before 10am should/can we take our stuff to SSR for holding?
2.) Can we somehow checkin even though we don't need the room till probably after 6pm? Or could I only checkin when we come back from the park?
3.) Can we use the pool or bus facilities that morning?
4.) If purchasing DDP, does it start that day? Do you get tickets for DDP?

5.) Should I buy cleaning supplies and clean the room upon checkin? Just kidding.

When you check out of BC, you can either have them transfer your luggage for you (this is free except for tipping) or you can take your stuff to SSR, check in and if your room is ready go ahead and put it in there. If it isn't ready, they will hold your things for you. Personally, I like to go ahead and check in to my resort first thing just to get that out of the way.

Your DDP will begin as soon as you check in. It is tied to your room key, so you need to have checked in in order to have those credits available. Your DDP begins the day you check in and goes through the day you check out.

You can use the pool as soon as you check in. There are restrooms/locker rooms to change and pool towels are there for you to use. You can use WDW transportation anytime. Even offsite guests are welcome to use Disney transportation.

You do not need to clean the room. SSR has been spotlessly clean for all three of my stays over the last two years. The rooms are newer and very fresh. Don't believe every horror story you read to be the norm!

We just returned from SSR on 11-11-07. The answer to your questions:

1. Yes

2. You can check in even though your room is not ready. We arrived at 10 am on Thursday and our room was not ready. We were given our room keys and a number to call to check periodically on our assigned room number. At 1pm we called and were given our room number. When we got back to SSR, we went directly to our room.

3. Yes

4. Yes, as soon as you check in.
