Need Prayers...

Phyl, glad things are going a little better - I assume that NYPD will put him on disability while he recovers - here's to hoping and praying that everything works out.

Maybe he'll find a daughter-in-law for you while he's there! :lmao:

Phyllis, I'm glad to hear your son is doing a bit better and is able to have his own room now. We're praying for you all nightly. I'm sorry about your daughter, there is nothing like losing a child.

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Phyllis, dear one, hang in there! It must be so difficult for you to see Bobby in this condition. Sometimes the meds need a few days to kick in. So, I'm hoping this will occur in the next day or two. They can do so much today regarding de-fib, and safely. He has his youth and being in great shape on his side - just remember that.

I'm glad they finally found a room for him. I had to wait in the ER for two days for a bed when I had CHF 5 years ago. It's okay, but the gurney was so uncomfortable!

I'm going to ask my Pastor to include Bobby in our altar prayer this morning. Miracles come thru prayer!

Phyllis, I am sorry to hear about what you, your family and your son are going through. You have paid your dues and then some. I will pray that God brings health and happiness to you soon. It is so difficult to see your child suffer, at any age.

Phyllis, I have been thinking and praying for Bobby. I am glad things are a little better for him. Please take care of yourself as well. The hospital can wear you out!

UPDATE

Well, I guess the Lord must have had a real busy Sunday with plenty of prayer requests for my son. Some point during the night Bobby's heart kicked back into sinus rhythm!
Yep...we can't believe it. Went up to the hospital this morning and the cardiologist came in with the good news. Right now..my son is upstairs taking a shower in his own house!
You heard me right..he's home!:woohoo:
The doctors were pretty surprised, as they felt if it hadn't gone back into it's natural rhythm by now..it wasn't likely to do so without being shocked.
Maybe the meds finally started working..maybe it's all those prayers that were coming in from all over..but what ever it is..IT WORKED!:yay:

He has plenty of meds that he came home on..and has to give himself an injectible blood thinner as well..but he's okay with that. Just happy to leave the hospital. He's got follow up in a couple of days with the cardiologist, and they are tweaking his meds..trying to find the right combinations of things. Hopefully, he won't need to be on them long..although there is one that they say he'll probably stay on.
In any case...he's tired..but home. Dr.'s warn that since this happened once..it may again. There's really just no way to know. Time will tell.
In the meantime, he's got some time off from work to rest, and tweak the meds. (probably drive me crazy...but I wouldn't have it any other way  ).

Saying "thank you" to all of you for keeping my son in your thoughts and prayers..well, it just seems so woefully inadequate. I wish I was more articulate...and could express to you all how grateful I am for your support and how all your good wishes have touched my heart. :grouphug:

That's great news to hear Phyllis! Please keep us posted.

Feels SOOOOO good to hear that good news, Phyllis.

I asked Bobby to talk to Mickey and the gang on behalf of your son. I think Donald may have had something to do with his recovery.

Deb told me the news on the phone over the weekend. I have had the family in my prayers the whole time. (I do stay in touch while I am away)
