I have some questions - here's my story. Want to plan 3-4 day trip to Disney. Dates are fairly flexible, but it has to be CHEAP! We always stay at POP and would do so again. :sunny:

Have an AP and am also a AAA member. Thinking that booking BRP is out, since must be booked 60 days out. Waiting for cheaper airfare on SW (hoping for the DING fairy!).

So,
1. Can I book AAA and then change dates if I can get a cheaper airfare?
2. Can I cancel all together if no cheap airfare comes?
3. Can I / should I book more than 1 reservation using AAA rate? (like the 2 most probable weeks we would go)? No flames please, if this sounds unfair. Just trying to afford this venture.
4. If I change my dates, would the discount only apply if they have rooms still available at that rate? (Say I book Mon-Thurs, then change to Tues - Fri., would I lose the discount?)
5. Any other options anyone can think of?

I don't want to wait too long on the airfare that I cannot book the POP on those dates with some sort of a discount. If I pay rack rate, when I could have gotten a discount, won't make it cost effective at all. :earseek:

Can someone please advise me or give me some sort of direction? I REALLY want to make this happen for us and want to make good choices. :wizard: The rest of my family isn't Disney obsessed like me, so they don't want to help make any decisions. I need some help from my Disney friends, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! :confused3 :goodvibes :confused3 :goodvibes :confused3 :goodvibes

My only suggestion would be to book yourself because your dates are flexible and not set in stone. Sometimes agencies charge a fee to make any changes to your vacation package.

If you are booking a room-only reservation you can cancel/change dates up to 5 days before your arrival date. (If it was a package it would have to be before the 45 day mark.)

As far as changing your dates, as long as they have a discounted room available for your new dates you will be able to keep the discount.

If you book for 2 different weeks make sure you cancel the week you don't need as soon as you know so you don't forget about it and get charged!! :faint:
