i'm so super excited, i'm leaving for WDW in about 2 weeks, and honestly i have no clue what i should pack besides the obvious (clothes, sunblock, snacks, camera/batteries). any ideas would be greatly appreciated :goodvibes

i've never been to WDW before :rolleyes1 which is why i'm asking :thumbsup2

thanks :upsidedow

I have a packing list that I check off as I go along. My husband says I'm a bit...well...overprepared.

clothes lists for everyone (including a jacket/hoodie, 1 pair of flipflops (for the water rides) and some cheap ponchos, for rain--walmart has em for .89), sunglasses and baseball caps or sunhats

bathroom gear: shampoo, conditioner, soap, hand soap, makeup, brushes, toothbrushes/paste, lotion, deodorant, "girl stuff", lotion, sunscreen, contacts/glasses/cases/solutions, razors/shave cream, MONKEY BUTT POWDER

first aid kit: cold medicine, pain reliever, bandaids varying sizes, gauze, tape, wraps in case of a sprain, DH's medications, thermometer, nail clippers, scissors, lip balm, moleskin

WHISTLES for the kids, to help find them if they get lost or in trouble; DS has a small "DOG TAG" that we got from petsmart, that has our cell number and DH's and my names on it (not his), that he wears on his belt loop. the ones from petsmart are small and cheap--so easily replaceable.
LARGE ZIPLOCKS for holding cell phones or wet clothes
KEURIG and coffee, tea, oatmeal and hot chocolate packets, our camping bowls/sppons/cups
Chargers for cell phones/laptops/camcorder
Extra batteries
Cell phones, camera, camcorder, laptop (locks in safe when not in room-mainly used on the way down and back)
WATER BOBBLES
Small backpack for the park
Snacks: poptarts, granola bars, fresh and dried fruits
GLOWIN THE DARK BRACELETS/NECKLACES I put the bracelets around DS's ankles, he likes to see where he is walking :rotfl:
DD's Pin bag
DS's Penny holders and character signing books; sharpie
Rolls of quarters/pennies

I stole someone's idea here, and hole punched my photopass card and use a carbiner to hold it on the backpack. I also have the plastic card holders off of the lanyards, that I have attached to carbiner as well, that hold the tickets, room cards, ids, cash, etc. I attach those ones to the inside of the backpack. We never leave the pack anywhere,

Stuff for the trip down, including travel blankets/pillows, dvd player, cards, books, colored pencils (don't melt in a hot car like crayons), color books and paper, toys, ipods, etc. YES & KNOW GAME BOOKS

Plus the dog's list, for her trip to the kennels.

See, I'm very...organized. In my defense, if I didn't make a list, DH (and the kids) would have one pair of socks each, two pairs of underwear each and a toothbrush to share for the trip. :rolleyes1
And the first aid kit is always packed, I just have to add DH's medication to it.

well, nothing wrong with being overprepared :) better than being underprepared lol. these are all excellent suggestions :D thanks!

Can't believe I just googled Monkey Butt Powder :) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just adding a power bar, there are never enough plugs to charge cell phones, cameras, video cameras, computers etc. Our room had 2 outlets unless you want to have them all over and in the bathroom. We also pack mister fans, they are reasonable in walmart expensive in disney.:thumbsup2
