Need homemade easy breakfast to go ideas

nature valley makes nut bars, more protein and more filling for me than a granola bar. i have been making my own breakfast sandwiches. i have a small frying pan and i cook scrambled eggs in it the night before slowly and fold in half omlette style. in the morning i microwave for 30s and cut the half circle in half, with a layer of cheese in between to fit on the roll. it keeps me very full. the only thing is i dont know if that would keep in the heat. i do peanut butter and jelly or PB and nutella sometimes too.

i also found think thin bars recently. they have 20grams of protein but they are coated in a chocolate layer that melts in the heat which is a bummer. i never have time to eat before i leave so i just eat breakfast at work.

This is exactly what I was looking for. This year my goal is to make and freeze everything I can. So with the breakfast burritos, the scrambles eggs will be fine when they are warmed in the mircowave? I thought they would be a little watery and runny.

Thanks again everyone for all the ideas. Keep 'em coming.

We have never had a problem with the eggs being runny. :) Glad I could help you out!

Pancakes and waffles from scratch are good reheated. You could make the mini silver dollar sized ones, with some fresh fruit. I think fruits would taste the best after a long morning, since they taste good cold and there's lots of water content in most fruits. I usually buy my fruit on the weekend, cut it up and store it in ziploc bags to munch on for the rest of the week. You could store a serving in baggies for them to take on the go.

Mini quiches sound really cool, I wonder how good they taste reheated.

Peanut Butter rolled up in a tortilla.

Turkey Sausage and Biscuit.

Freeze a cup of yogurt and send it to practice. When practice is over, it has thawed in their locker and is ready to eat.

I make and freeze pre-cooked biscuits with ham/cheese, sausage/cheese, bacon/cheese, etc. in them. Out of the freezer, 40 seconds in the microwave, they are ready to eat.

I have also made and frozen pancakes (which may be too difficult to eat if they r looking for something on the go). These have been hit or miss though in terms of thawing back out.
