Need help!!

We booked Rainforest Cafe @ Downtown Disney for mid-Sept a couple of months ago. When we booked, it had the restaurant listed a 1 that accepts the dining plan.. now it says they don't accept. Do I still get to use the dining plan if it was offered for that restaurant when we booked? I have the reservation confirmation email that says the dining plan is accepted. Please help!! I need to know if I should cancel this one, so I can find another that does accept it. TIA!

Rainforest does not accept DDP and never has.

Actually, I believe the problem you will have is that they DO accept A ddp- Premium and Platnium so if you are doing one of those then it is fine if not then no you will not get to use the regular ddp or dxdp for them.

Sorry, but having been to the one in Katy near Houston several times it is way too stimulating for kids and I have had more meltdowns there then anywhere else for mediocre meals.

Yak and Yeti is better or Tusker house BK has characters.

The Rainforest Cafes at DTD and also at AK have never accepted the DDP or the DxDDP, only the Premium and Platinum.

Just FYI there are several restaurants that are listed as accepting the dining plan, that only accept the premium and platinum plans, not the basic DDP or DxDDP. I know both RFCs, Victoria and Albert's, Fulton's, and Portobello's are among them.

Premium and Platinum Package Plans are not Disney Dining Plans. They have a similar dining component, so Disney lumps them in with the DDPs on their website. This causes LOTS of problems with guests who think RFC and Fulton's take the Disney Dining Plans, which they don't. If it says now that they don't accept it (OP are you looking at the website when you say that?) it could mean they are attempting to correct the problem.

So unfortunately, no, the OP will not be able to use the DDP there even with the confirmation, since RFC never accepted the Disney Dining Plans.

Tusker House has characters only at breakfast.
