Need Help With National Codes

I am already a Emerald Club member from last year's trip. I know I had the total price at $130 or $120 for 8 days last year- same time of year.

I am staying May 2-9th
I did the priceless and Ent book combination and after they slap on the taxes I'm at $162- I refuse to pay that, I would rather forfeit the rental car and get a sedan for $90

Please, can someone suggest a better code to me? Im on my way over to check mousavers, just to be sure I didn't miss anything...

Ack! How'd you do that? Course I don't want a full size, but I can pick anything on the lot, right? They aren't going to tell me to go back and pick another when I drive up to the window. LOL.

I didn't know what size you wanted. Intermediate is $112.60 total.

I used #6600330 for contract and #10009123 for $20 off.

If you book a Full size then it's Emerald Reserve and you can pick any car from the Full size aisle. If you book an Intermediate then it's a Emerald Aisle reservation and you can pick any car from the Emerald Aisle. You are then guaranteed an Intermediate but could possibly get an upgrade if it's on the Emerald Aisle.

This is for 7 days..doesn't she need it for 8? You have to be sure to put in the right times of pick up and drop off. If she is dropping off, for instance, at 11..it's now eight days.

Yep, that certainly could be the difference but at least they have an idea of what we're getting for their dates. I did it based on dates, not times as they didn't post their times....

Okay, I just talked to my husband, I think we are adding another day.

May 2 (picking up at 11am)
May 10 (dropping off around 4:30-5pm)

I just put in priceless and Ent book and got $156- dont know what I am doing wrong...

Nope, you are doing nothing wrong. I got the same rate. You are booking for 10 days because of your drop off time. 10 days for $156 is a GREAT price, IMHO.

The problem is I have to compare it to what it would cost to do a sedan- which remains the same through out- about $90 (I should probably take in to consideration what a taxi to Universal would be)

IMHO, the car rental convenience far out-weighs the price difference. I guess you'll have to go with the sedan because $156 for 10 days is a VERY good price and don't think you'll do any better anywhere else.

$156 is an awesome price for 10 days! I would jump on that in a heartbeat! You can't compare to a towncar. Towncar will ge you there and back. Plus, you have to add in a tip to the $90 or so you pay for the towncar. Now add in the money you pay for a cab offsite and you are right up there to the rental.

Trust me, that price is excellent for a rental car. You would have the convenience of having a car if you are running late for a PS or if you want to go off site. You get free parking at all of the WDW parks if you are staying on site. If you want to visit other resorts, the car is the only way to go.

I would go with the car!
