Need help with ADR's!

Allrighty.. I feel like I just keeping coming back to the same questions!
Our trip is Nov 21-29

1. I cannot get my reservation to pull up (I have been practicing for the 90+10 for reservations. Mine wont come up. Can you help?

2. My sister and her family are going with us. There will be 5 adults and 5 kids. When I went to practice with one restaurant.. a little sign came up off to the left that said.. "for parties 10 or more, call this number)... Can I make the dining reservations for all of us? Should I split the group up? We really want to eat all together.

3. What time do the phone lines open?

4. If, the morning I make my ADR's, the computer fails me..what time can I call Disney (I think it is 7)? Will they be able to do my 90+10?

Another note...

When I was practicing.. I did put in for 10 people at Chef Mickey's the last date available now (which was like Oct 2) .. and it did come up with a table... do I have to call that number for 10 or more?

I had no luck using the online dining system with my DVC ressie # for October. But I didn't have any trouble calling in that morning (I called the DVC CMS) and got everything I wanted.

Any party greater than 8 is considered a grand gathering. Definitely call that number to make your ADR's so that you can all be seated together. We had 10 in our group last year and we were able to eat together for every ADR that I made.
I believe 7am is when the phone lines open.

I just got back from our vacation a couple of weeks ago, we had 11 people. I made my ADR's over the phone, (computer not avail. at the time). I did not need to use the grand gathering. I did get a GG # and that was a pain. You need to call DVC member services and ask for one. Then a few days later I got a phone call with my number. We booked the sunset safari and that is the only time I need the GG#, we had an ADR every night. We sat together at every restaurant but 1 (Crystal Palace). At CP we had 2 table right next to each other.

OP, did you try different phone numbers? I have some of my DVC reservations pulling up via my home phone number and I have one that will pull up under my husband's cell phone number

As for grand gathering, I believe it's a magical gathering as a grand gathering is a party of 12 or more. I've not had any problem making my ADRs online, but like you, I did practice first to see if my reservation worked. Many times I'm told that we "may" be at 2 seperate tables, especially the smaller places, like LeCellier and 50s Prime Time, but when I check in, they always try to seat us together, so you still may be told separate tables to get decent times, but they will do their best to keep you together.

Are you trying to retrieve your reservation under My Disney Vacation? You can't access DVC Reservations using that option.

You need to go to a specific restaurant page and select the link to book online. Once you do that, you should see the following text:

Do you have a Resort reservation for the same days for which you're making dining reservations?
If so, please retrieve your reservation.

Click on the words 'retrieve your reservation' and enter your DVC reservation number there.

I had problems originally too but found out I had to put my cell phone number in. When you make your reservation they ask for a number you can be reached at when there - you need to use this number you gave them.

That is not working for me also. I entered my reservation number in but gave me an error code.
