I need some help! Disney just made our Wedding Website but I have no idea how to update it with info of where everyone will/ can be staying... how to update our calander of events and add our gift registry...???
Does anyone know how to do this??? or Do you send the info to Disney and they do if for you????? :earboy2:

Good question...I'm going through the exact same situation!

Did your SM email the link to the site? Try replying to that email and asking about how to update. I haven't done that yet either...but I think I will right now...

Did you find the website on your own? That's how I found out about mine. . .but a few weeks later I received an email from the Disney Web Design team. They're very thorough, and request that you send any changes you want to them. They update your website, then you proof it; when you approve it, they send out postcards to all your guests with the link. As far as I know, there is no way for you to personally make the changes-everything has to be handled through this web design team.

I just got mine too (the e-mail came today) and then saw this post. I automatically assumed that once we have registered, or planned any activities, we just contact Disney and tell them the updates we would like on the website.

Hmmm, our wedding is Nov 1 of this year, but we haven't heard anything about a website. Are you girls having intimate weddings or custom weddings (I don't know if that would make a difference or not)? I was going to make my own website for the wedding, but if Disney does it for me, all the better :)

Jennifer

i believe the disney wedding websites are for custom brides only. you could also create a site with theknot.com which is free & easy to use.

The website is available for both intimate and custom weddings. We're having an intimate wedding in August and have been told about our website.

Andy

We are having an intimate on May 20th, 2006 and I received the e-mail with a link to my website on June 12th, 2005. There was no mention of the website when I booked our wedding, but if you have had your wedding booked for a while, and still do not have a site, I would definately call Disney.

thanks for the info - did it take a while after they built the site for the disney web team to send email regarding changes? I found out about it through my event manger.. I guess if I dont hear from them then I'll give her a call...

Here's their email address if you want to contact them directly:
"WDW Disneys Fairy Tale Weddings" <WDW.Disneys.Fairy.Tale.Weddings@disney.com>

I think it took about a week or two for them to get in contact with me, but my wedding planner did tell them I was asking about changes.
