Need help catching up with Guiding Light!

I haven't watched in like 4 or 5 years! I need to know a couple of things, sorry if I don't spell their names right.


1. Where in the the world is Mara??

2. I see Reva has a son now, that I guess she must have givin up to adoption? I think his name is Josh, who is his Biological father suppose to be?

3. Cassey is dating a man, that looks like her former husband..What happened to the former husband? And how did she end up marring that mean guy that kidnapped the baby??
How many kids does Cassey have now, not counting the baby that isn't really hers??

Mara is off at college.

Johnathan is Reva's son by Prince Richard (that was married to Cassie.) He's the one that she gave up for adoption to protect from Edmond (the one who stole Michelle's baby). Edmond was good for a "minute...LOL" and Cassie married him. Richard's twin is Jeffrey O'Neil no kin to Prince Richard that we know of yet. He is the district attorney that just happens to look exactly like Prince Richard.

Lets see Cassie has Tammey and R.J. She also had Will who was adopted from Edmond's brother but he went back to live with his real dad a month or so ago.

I can answer a couple of these....I've been watching GL since I was 5, and now that I'm not home during the day, I get most of my daily updates from the TVGuide web site.

Marah now lives in Paris. She moved there after a revenge / shooting / past crime incident that involved a girls aunt who was taking revenge on the daughters of several Springfield residents who had accidentely killed her neice 30 years earlier.

Reva's son is Johnathan. His is the son of Reva and Prince Richard. Jonathan was given to Olivia - who gave the baby to her sister and husband to raise him because of some life threatening thing or something like that.

Cassie is dating Jeffery. Who, is the same actor as Richard, but is of no relation (well, not yet, anyway). Cassie has 3 kids (that I know of):
1) Tammy - son of Rob, Cassie's first husband from her stripper days
2) R.J - son of Hart, who Dinah killed
3) don't know his name - adopted son, that Cassie and Richard adopted. He is the real son of Alonzo, a former San Cristobal fisherman, who was revealed to be the REAL heir to the San Cristobel throne and is now the ruler (president?) of a (now) democratic San Cristobel.

It's sad that I know this much about an imaginary land.

Ok, now I am more confused!!LOL

The last time I watched the show Reva was married to Josh (the man, not her kid) So why did she name her son Josh, if he was from another man?? I guess she must have not been married to Josh, when she got PG with a new son? How long have Reva and Josh been back together! I swear I can't keep up with them two!

I wish, I never stopped watching!! I missed too much!

Reva's son is Jonathan. She doesn't have a son named Josh.
Reva's kids (hopefully I'll get this right)

Dylan (father is Billy)
Marah (father is Josh)
Shane (father is Josh)
Johnathan (father is the deceased "Prince" Richard)

Remember waaaay back when Reva drove the car off of the bridge in Florida? She had amnesia and somehow (floated?) ended up on San Cristobal island, where she met and married Prince / King Richard. They had Johnathan.

Reva and Josh have been back together for a few years I believe. There was some storyline where she kept going back to the civil war era and Josh and Olivia were there and eventually, it was made clear that it was fate that they were together.

Dylan is not still on the show, but he did come back for Josh & Reva's wedding a couple years ago.

Olivia's husband is Bill Lewis -- son of Billy Lewis and Vanessa Chamberlin Lewis -- you remember -- little Billy who was best friends with little Michele!

Marah is working in Paris as a designer -- Mindy, I believe, got her the job there after the whole stupid Maryanne Caruthers storyline.

Since all your questions were already answered I just have to say "I HATE EDMUND"!!!! I can't wait for Cassie to find out the truth. I think Dinah and Cassie will become friends through this. A leopard doesn't change it's spots. I always hated Edmund and Cassie together.

Dylan left the show. Someone else may be able to set me straight, but I believe he left the show because he was blinded in a car accident, and he went off to some blind people community. I really miss him...he was the first character I had a crush on...and I STILL think he is/was adorable! I remember when he first came on the show with Harley and they had to give Daisy up for adoption.....I hope he comes in for a return with Bridgit and Peter in tow! Besides Buzz, Bridgit was one of the most engaging charachters.

Bill (Little Bill, or Bill Jr) is married to Olivia. Bill is the son of Billy Lewis and Vanessa Chamberlin-Lewis-Reardon.

My God - I could reminise about this show for hours!

Here's a fun question -
What storyline did you absolutely hate or think was really ridiculous?

What storyline did you absolutely love or have a strong connection with?

For me - I think the stupidest storyline was the Reva clone.

The best was the fifth street fire (the one where Buzz cries out to God and the rain starts and Vanessa and Matt tell everyone they're in love, not the first fire).

Hmmm, that's tough.

I didn't like the storyline with Bridget in the attic -- so Nadine could pass her baby off as her own. Thought the Maryanne Carruthers thing was stupid.

I liked the story with Josh & Reva and their time travel -- even though it was really hokey!

I liked the Harley & Mallet story when he was paralyzed and walked to her.

Love Harley & Gus together. I miss Maureen a lot.

There's been so much over the years -- I can't pick just one!

How about when Reva was a ghost (when they yhought she was dead). How are you a ghost when you are alive. My DH always makes fun of that. Seems like all the dumb ones revovle around Reva - clone, time travel.

Loved when Cassie and Richard fell in love and she became a princess.
I really like Mallet and Harley.

Oh - remember the 5th Street murders? It was Brent dressed as a woman - he killed Nadine. That was good.

Neat hearing the old stories that you forgot about.

I missed the 5th street murders...

Who was the lady who lived upstairs...Mrs. Poppadopolous or something like that?

I used to love the old Eleni and Uncle Stavros.

Missed the whole Buzz & Jenna thing though.

I watched from about '82 through early 90's and then started taping a few years ago. I watched now and then through the middle years.
