National...Rent from CCC or Dolphin???

Normally we've rented at MCO and love to pick out our car on the Emerald Aisle, but this time I thought we'd try ME to the resort & bring the car back to MCO for our flight home.

Wondering thoughts/tips/advice on renting from CCC or Dolphin? I know there is no Emerald Aisle at CCC, but how does that work...they just give you what they want/have? Is it the same with Dolphin? Have you been happy with your rental car from either place?

We're staying on-site so I could use the transportation from the parks to the Dolphin...

????Any help would be appreciated.

hmmm. I'd check the prices for both a one way rental vs. renting at MCO.
That being said, I've rented from the Dolphin before and it was fine. They have a shuttle that will pick you up.

I always use the Dolphin for my rental cars. The way I do it is to plan on going to Epcot or MGM in the morning. Then in the early aft I either walk or take the Friendship boat to the Dolphin, pick up my car and drive back to my resort.

Others have had success with CCC which has a shuttle that will pick you up at your resort, but you have to call and schedule it.

My only issue with renting at the Dolphin is that is closes at 4. I can't get there before 4 on the day I need to rent, and even if I did, it would mean an extra day rental. I need to rent at 5:00...guess it looks like it's the CCC for us. But, not a big deal.

I'm in the same boat this trip. My flight arrives late Thurs. nite so I want to return the car the next day as late as possible - looks like it's CCC for me!!!

OP here...thanks for the info! The price at Dolphin is about $2 less than the CCC. I'll be at the parks the day of pick up so I have no problem going to one nearby to get there by 4pm. So I guess Dolphin it is!
