Can I ask what type of car you reserved? I am looking for a standard SUV and so far the cheapest I have found was $195 for Alamo from Sept 24 to Oct 2.
national and dollar are so much higher in price then Alamo.

Glad to see the rates starting to drop for September. Unfortunately the new rates still don't come close to what I'm already holding. I have a full size (ex.aisle) for 10 days at a total price of $170. Of course, I would love to see it get lower, so will be watching as we leave on Sept. 14th.
I'm getting a little p.o.'ed because i am looking at a 5 day rental - they are chargin me for 5 days. Why are they charging me for a week, where i could get an extra $10 off b/c of the priceless code?
HI, If you book a car rental now they will adjust the price if it lowers? My trip is not until November would you suggest I wait to book a car? Thanks for any imput
"They," whichever company you use, will not adjust the price for you. You need to continue to monitor the price and if it goes down, you need to adjust it yourself. I know for National, that means creating a new ressie and cancelling the old one.
