When I left off we were making our way around World Showcase and checking in at one of the Kim Possible kiosks to get DS's first mission of this trip!! HOWEVER...... I just realized that I left some stuff out of my last update. We did more around Future World than I first remembered. We actually did pick up a fast pass for Soarin' early in the morning and then found Nemo, met the characters, and headed back into the Land to eat lunch!! Once again the whole food allergy debacle came into play. I had to ask for a Chef who came out from the back to explain to me what he could and couldn't have. Before I even went over there I looked over the menu and pre-picked out what I thought he'd be able to eat. I figured I'd start by asking if the meal I had in mind was safe or not rather than having them have to list everything. WRONG!!!!! I picked out the burger which is also what DS said he wanted but she told me he couldn't have the bread!! I will go ahead and let you know here and now that if you go to WDW with a peanut allergy, just stay away from all of the bread. Yes, I said BREAD OF ALL THINGS!!

Every single place we went to said not to trust the bread. There are so many different types of bread at WDW and even just the hamburger buns were not guaranteed to be safe.

You have no idea how much this puts a damper on trying to find meals for a 6 year old. Especially a picky 6 year old.

In the end he ended up with exactly what he said he DIDN'T want which was the baked chicken drumstick and veggies with jello for desert. He hates drumsticks. Mostly because of the bone and the nasty vein things that are inside...and well....I can't really say I blame him. I had to think fast and make a deal with him. "I promise to pick all of the MEAT ONLY off of the bone and throw the bone away so that you can eat the chicken without having to deal with the other stuff" ...............DEAL!!!! He was happy with that. THANK THE LORD. Another crazy meal experience down and only 2 per day more for the next 5 days.

Here we are after eating....
And now it's time to ride Soarin'.....
After that we rode Soarin' for the 2nd time this trip, then headed our to World Showcase!
Ok, so now I can pick up where I left off last time in World Showcase. I believe we were crossing the bridge into France.
We strolled around a bit, then sat and did a little people watching. We saw more Saints fans.......
I also saw my first sort of crazy looking outfit while there. It was made of velour or terry cloth or something.

It was VERY thick material. Almost like a robe but it was a dress.....with knee socks and nurse looking shoes.
Whatever. To each his/her own, I guess.
Moving on....I find the wine store!!

I bought myself a bottle of wine for watching the game later. (I'm not a big beer drinker. I leave that to DH.) I also bought a mini-bottle of champagne for if the Saints win the Superbowl......or in case they lose and I need more liquor. Take your pick.
After this, I stroll on out the door to find DH and DS who have found the street performers. We stayed and watched. It was fun! We've never really SLOOOWED DOWN and relaxed while touring WS. This was a whole new touring style for us. We liked it. Here are some pictures from the performance....
DS's Kim Possible mission was in Japan!! We made our way there and got to work. I just realized that I didn't take any pictures while there. I guess I was really getting into that mission!

Anyway, you know how when the mission is over it tells you where to go to drop the kimmunicator into a drop box?? Well this one was giving us a choice to go on to another mission before it got to that.

I clicked on "yes" and.......it automatically downloaded a new mission!!! This time was in Germany. AWESOME!! I wonder if they set it up that way because there weren't many people in the park?? Not sure, but I will say that it was nice because it kept DS entertained for our entire journey throught WS. He did a mission in Japan, Germany, Italy, and then China. Those were the countries that we hadn't done last trip. It was actually letting us choose which country we wanted to go to.
So, on the way to Germany we got stopped by a lady who was originally from Texas. She started talking to us about how she was "rootin'" for the Saints to win the Superbowl and asking us where we were from. She was also......A DISNEY VACATION CLUB CM!! Yeah, you know where this is going don't ya??

Anyhoo, DH grabbed a beer and one of those HUGE turkey legs that he has been wanting to try since our trip in 2007 and hasn't been able to......until now. I introduce to you, my husband. Man of all men, with his turkey leg and beer. He just looks so barbaric.
Allow me to narrarate the above photo......"MMMM, ME MAN!! ME EAT BIG LEG OF MEAT!!! ME DRINK BIG OL' BEER!!!"

Just kidding. But the picture cracks me up everytime I see it.
