Great update! My sister has a severe allergy to shell fish. That's a lot easier to get around though, than peanuts. I can't believe you couldn't even trust the bread! Must have been very frustrating.

Love the pics of Italy! Nice that you could relax in WS while your son enjoyed the Kim Possible mission.

it seems like World Showcase is the place to find the drunks....hmmm. I'll have to remember that. Unless, I run into some at WS later in my trip

i totally agree with him! i can't deal with chicken on a bone because of all the nastiness you encounter as you eat it. i would have needed someone to pick off the meat, too!
I agree! It's pretty gross. I like it, but just don't want to eat if for that reason. I usually stick with the breast portion.

Yes it was!!!.......or IS!!!.......and will be next time!! I think we are going to pre-cook and freeze dinners to bring with us since we know we will be staying in Villa's because of DVC. I will also pack him a lunch every day. More work than I care for on our vacation, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do!

erica and i had lunch at chefs de france in september 2008 and had a seat right next to the window nearest to their performance and got to see it TWICE from that window. it was really cool because we could see an angle no one else could and there was no one between us and the performers. the guy that climbs those chairs is amazing!

We did Chef's last year. It was good!! We didn't get to see the streetmosphere though. Sounds like ya'll had a good spot!

me too! it's my second-favorite country in WS. my favorite is morocco and i think the reason i love both of them is because of all the detailing!

Oh I know!! Morocco is BEAUTIFUL!!! I forgot to go get another henna tattoo this trip! I will have to do it this summer.


sounds like a fun day in WS! ray and i had such fun in may 2008 when we just took our time and drank and shopped our way through WS....it was so great! we had lunch at rose & crown first and had drinks there, then a slushie in france, then some sake in japan, then a peach schnapps oolong frozen tea in china (fav drink in WS), then margaritas in mexico! we took our time so we were fine, but ready for a nap when we got back to the room!

Ha!! I wish we could do that, but we both have to stay at least a little "alert" since DS is with us.

The bellini sounded good to me. I have my trusty list of liquory options in WS, so I'm sure i"ll find something to put a happy spin in my tour around the world!
The Bellini wasn't so bad. Peach is just not what I would normally go for.

Ugh! The meal times sound hard, and a pain! I can't imagine having to do that day after day in a place that should be easy to be in.

I won't lie.....it IS a pain!! But like I said....gotta do what ya gotta do. See post to punkin above, I'm going to start packing him a lunch. More details on all that later!

The turkey leg was actually very tasty. However, there really is not much to it. After the first layer you start getting into all these little bones and such. It's not as much meat as I thought would be on it.

I don't remember but I'm thinking it was not a snack credit. I will go check my receipts.....

All food allergies must be frustrating to some extent! We are still trying to get used to it all. Every time I think I've got it down pat, I find out I don't.

It was fun to slow down this time and enjoy more things!

The food issues......Oy!!! We are working on all that. Hopefully next trip will be less stressful.

We only yelled WHO DAT? to other Saints fans that we saw but MANY people yelled it to us. Too funny about your DH!

We've never tried beirgarten. All the pictures I see are of people having an absolute blast so it must be fun!!

Ok, peeps!!! I'm hoping to get a couple of updates done this weekend. I think the others may all be about a day ahead of me (?). So it's time for me to try to catch up. It won't be tonight because I'm going to my monthly "Bunco" with the girls tonight! The friend who's hosting it tonight is doing a themed night. Tonight is "hats & heels". Should be interesting!!

It's "bunco" night. Everyone brings their own bottle of wine. In the end it ends up being more like "drunco" night. Hopefully, I win the money!! Stay tuned!
