Sorry but I find her neither partiularly intelligent or capable. She has said some pretty lame things. The difference here is that with Palin, the media made a mockery of her. Even Obama misspoke( ie 57 states). Or did you see his speech when the teleprompter stopped working? The difference is the press gave him a pass. And I don't think in all fairness they should have crucified him over it, it was a mistake. But Palin did not get that same consideration and politics aside that was just wrong.

Yeah, silly me. I actually value and respect education and feel it's a requirement to do a job like that. It's something Palin doesn't have, and it shows IMO. There is a difference between misspeaking and opinions. You can't blame the media for remarks that she made. She is responsible for them.

I wasn't blaming the media for remarks she made. I'm blaming them for the way they mischaracterized her. If a republican had made a dumb mistake like saying 57 states the media would have blasted them and made them look stupid over and over again. Obama is indeed educated , but I don't think he's qualified to be president. He got a free pass from the press. Most democrats do in the MSM. Perhaps that's why Fox News is so popular, they will actually tell the other side of the story. That's why democrats (on the Dis at least) can't stand it.

I think Speaker Pelosi gets a bad rap because she's a woman, a strong woman who is in charge of a few hundred men. Many people don't like her because she represents a very liberal district. Given that she wasn't my first choice for Speaker (though I'm proud we have a woman Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives) I'd say she's doing a pretty fair job.

Well, I'm not impressed. She should have been in there knocking Bush around for all his problems he caused, like the trillions spent in Iraq. If she had done that then maybe we wouldn't need to find money now. Also, she darn well could be pointing out to everyone why we are in this financial mess, and don't come crying now about how our kids' will have to pay this off when she didn't yell and scream about how those same kids will have to be paying for an unnecessary war.
We need Sonny or Micheal, and we got Fredo.
So, yeah, I'm disappointed.

Woman in politics do tend to be polarizing. I don't know why.

Pelosi is, Palin certainly was, and Hillary Clinton--very polarizing. I tell you, it's a woman thing.

I didn't dislike Palin because of what the press did to her, I disliked just about everything she stood for. On top of that, I didn't care for her "persona" as a politician.

I also don't care for Pelosi's. As far as how good of a job do I think she's doing? Jury is still out for me. She is a little too liberal for me in general.

I'm a Democrat, and I think that she is a disaster, a real left-wing wacko.
