Ugh, I HATE this trend. Sadie is another old name I've seen on young girls.
I worked at a senior living home and they had the same names as the kids in daycare. I guess their parents aren't old enough to know when these names were out the last time around.![]()

I had a great aunt named Cora and wanted to name DD Cora Lynne but DH didn't go for it. Instead we named her Sarah after her grandmother. Sarah was an old name that made a comeback. Lots of 25yo Sarahs.Cora
I LOVE this trend. Everything old is new again. My DDs are named after my grandmother and mother. It's a tribute to strong loving women who aren't with me anymore...and some of the names people on this thread have derided as too old fashioned are among my favorites (well, maybe not Eunice)
I'm not a fan of a lot of the made up names I've heard, but this is a trend I hope continues.
