Can I use an extra counter service inplace of a sitdown? On the day we go to MNSSHP we would like to eat counter service for an early lunch then head back to the hotel (ASMo) for a easier afternoon and eat at the foodcourt before we head out to the party.

you receive one counter, one table and one snack per day based on the number of nights you are staying at the disney hotel.

you can use the myw dining coupons anyway you wish.
you can do two counters a day, three counters a day, two tables a day, etc.

you get to decide how to use them.

i am staying 11 days, 10 nights so i will have 10 of each/ 30 food coupons programmed into my room/ ticket key.

i know i won't be using all of them. but will take full advantage of the table service dinners. i am receiving my myw dining free as i am going in sept/oct. disney is running a special for those who check in and have a package from aug 27 thru oct 4.

My understanding is that you can use the credits in any order, that is, 2 counter service one day, 2 sit-down meals the next. You could have a late character breakfast and a sit down in the late afternoon, or 2 counter service meals in one day. It's your choice. Also, if you run out of counter serviced credits, you can use a sit-down at a counter-service place. Not the best value, but it makes it more flexible.

I thought we would run out of meals or not have enough, but ended up not even using 2 counter service meals. My husband and I shared breakfast every day, and since it came with a "dessert" we got my DD6 a bagel or croissant. My husband had a refillable mug, so it worked out great. We also ended up getting 2 Mickey rice crispie bars to bring home. We did use a lot of snack credits for water on the days it was hot. I was very happy with the meal plan. We racked up $717 worth of charges and the plan cost us $480. I did get the Fantasmic dinner package at Mama Melrose's, though, so we paid out of pocket.

Thanks for the responses. I have another question. Can you only have 1 charater meal? I was looking at sitdown lunches at MK and most of them are character. We were planning on doing the Breakfast with Donald at AK one day. The next day can we go to the lunch Buffet at the Crystal Palace with Pooh too? I am getting so confused.

You can have as many characater meals as you wish. You can have CRT one day, Chef Mickeys the next, Pooh and Friends, LIberty Tree Tavern..... you could have one each day!
