if i have a 7 day MYW base ticket (no hopping)

and i only go to the parks 6 days during my 7 day stay,

can i use this ticket twice on one day to enter 2 different parks?

(not looking to cheat the system here)

we're thinking to go to DTD on arrival day (and not go to a park)

if this cannot be done, we'll go to EP on arrival instead

(asking because in past, always had hopper option but rarely used it)

thanks!

No. The system will not let you in, you will be told that you will have to go purchase the hopper option.

Sorry, no. You'd have to have Park Hopper to visit 2 parks on the same day. The turnstile (tapstile) would reject the entry. PH costs $60 but covers all days on your ticket. Adding a park day after day 4 only costs $10. So that question is asked a lot. If you want to go to DTD your first day, why not go? You would only lose a park day worth $10. On the other hand, DTD is a colossal mess with major construction and horrible traffic/parking problems. I'm staying away on my next visit.

thanks for all your answers - i thought "no, can't be done" but wasn't 100% sure

might just get the hopper option added on after all

that way we could do 2 parks/1 day if we chose to

never used it much past trips, but this might be the trip we'd want to

and hoping by Oct 2015 DTD will be less chaotic - mama wants her some shoppy-shoppy!!

thanks again!

No need to pay for the hopper option ahead of time if you're not 100% sure you'll use it. Just wait and buy it during your visit if/when you decide to park hop.
