New Snack Location on Disney’s BoardWalk

A new snack kiosk has opened on Disney’s BoardWalk. The location serves some prepackaged popcorn, including an exclusive flavor to the BoardWalk.

The new kiosk is located on Walt Disney World’s BoardWalk near Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs. Disney’s BoardWalk is a quarter-mile promenade of dining, shops, and nightlife.

The menu offers several prepackaged popcorn options, as well as fan-favorite Mickey Pretzels, Premium Ice Cream Bars, and Premium Ice Cream Sandwiches. A selection of beers, seltzers, and cocktails are available, as well.

  • Saltwater Taffy Popcorn (exclusive to BoardWalk Inn) – $7.49
  • Classic Kettle Corn – $6.99
  • Cheddar Popcorn – $6.99

Saltwater Taffy Popcorn – $7.49

We wanted to this to be unique and flavorful, but it doesn’t really taste like saltwater taffy at all. There is some faint banana flavor in some of the kernels and maybe even some cotton candy, though it’s hard to say. Overall, it’s more like a sweeter version of kettle basic kettle corn.

There are also two other flavors of the Popcorn Junkie brand available: Classic Kettle Popcorn and Cheesy Cheddar Popcorn. Both are also in prepackaged bags.

In other BoardWalk news, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs announced the return of their Fried King’s Hawaiian Rolls not long after it was replaced with a Salmon Dog.
Now we need more of these on the DVC side of the Boardwalk. That side is a ghost town.

Maybe others can chime in, but it seems like the BoardWalk is always doing fire alarm testing. I was there for Halloween, and they were doing it. I think they did it on my prior trip as well.

In addition to the sign, they kept leaving voice mail messages on the hotel phone in my room. If you're ever there when you see the sign, you might want to check the sound level of the ringtone of the phone in your room in case those messages are coming in when someone might be trying to sleep.

Hi, all. We’re considering a trip this summer and the only Epcot area resort with availability for our dates is Boardwalk. Both regular inn room and a studio are available (only a $10 total difference)- would people strongly recommend one over the other? We’ve stayed in a studio at OKW and regular rooms elsewhere (including at our favorite- Yacht), so know what studios offer but weren't sure if there was a big difference between villas and inn side at Boardwalk. Thank you!

The biggest difference is the size of the BW Inn side of the resort, it is much smaller to navigate, and you get (2) Queen beds vs (1) QB and (1) Murphy bed on the BW Villa side.

FYI:

The Resort TV reported the Luna Park pool will close early tomorrow, 12/30 at 8:00pm and 12/31 at 7:00pm. The quiet pools will remain open. Thanks for understanding lol

A studio at BWV is different than OKW. There’s a Queen bed, Queen Murphy bed ( couch when closed) and a twin pulldown under the TV. The bathroom is different, the sink is outside, not in with the toilet and shower. Depends on how many people you have.

Staying at Boardwalk Inn first time in March. Have a water view room. I’m looking at 3rd floor but wondering if it gets very noisy? Also would love pics of the views from there. Thanks for any input.
