I went to the Plymouth Meeting Mall in PA tonight and saw the Disney Store was closed. I am so bummed. I didn't know it was one of the stores closing.

What am I going to do for my Disney fix?!

Terri

Go to King of Prussia or Montgomeryville Mall, both are within 25 minutes! I am surprised three stores so close to each other have lasted this long...I love Plymouth Mall but since IKEA left it doesn't have much "traffic" Frankly, I never felt the manager at Plymouth had much magic but I will miss the store too!

I walked in there on Monday -- the last day they were open. It was creepy. Everything was packed up except 2 racks. It was sad:( . Fortunately for me, the KOP store is closer to our home. I was only at that store because it's close to DH's work and I dropped something off to him.

I highly recommend the KOP store as your alternate. When I was there yesterday, there was a wonderful CM there who saw my daughter with me and grabbed some clearance merchandise that was just returned -- "These look like her size. Do you want them before I put them back on the rack and they disappear?" I got a velvet princess shirt / pants set for $7.99 and another princess velour sweatshirt for $3.99 for my DD6! She also gave me some tips for our upcoming (first ever!) trip to WDW.

Hope you find a store to your liking to give you your "fix".

Since IKEA has gone, the PM mall has gone downhill.

The K of P mall is wonderful, and that disney store is very nice.

To get there, you want to to go to not the Court but the Plaza. If I remember correctly, there will be a Houlhians nearby. Go in that entrance, (you will see a Victorias Secret just walking in ), and go straight on the left. YOu will see it very shortly.

What happened to IKEA??? Did they move? Or are they closed for good? I'm glad I saw this thread (was looking for DS codes) because DH likes that one better than Elizabeth NJ.

Our store in Bloomington IN closed over a year ago. I really miss it. Luckily my parents live close to the Allentown PA store and they can get me my Disney dollars!

Tomorrow we are roadtripping up to Greenwood, a suburb of Indy about 45 minutes away, for a Disney Store visit. I want to ask about buying AP's and check out the antenna toppers! I need a Disney Store fix to hold me til Spring Break at WDW! :)

We got nervous a couple of weeks ago when we walked into our local store and the back half was empty. We asked the manager and she said they were just changing over the seasonal items and that they were not on any lists. Whew. There are just some neat things you can only get there and they have great bargains sometimes.

Thanks! I've been to both the KOP and Montgoomerville store, but Plymouth was so convenient. Oh well.

Terri

Our Disney store in Springfield, MO closed, too! Stopping in there for a few minutes while I was at the mall is what has carried me through the months between trips forever! Are they trying to drive us nutty!?

The Ikea moved to a BRAND NEW building up the Blue Route (less than a mile away). The first IKEA building was small and parking was hideous! This new Ikea is three floors, tons of parking, free parking garages, etc..

Plymouth Meeting Mall was kind of blah... here in Southern NJ there are stores with 2 Disney Stores that I am aware of.. Cherry Hill and Echelon. Echelon is a struggling mall... the entire second half of the mall is closed, and two anchor stores left.

Our store is closing on the 16th:(

The Evansville Indiana store also closed on the 16th. Now I have to go to Greenwood or Indy! Thankfully, I have all of our park-hopper tickets already. But I still miss the Magic!

The store in my local mall closed for about 9 months last year for renovations. Just before they closed, they had a huge clearance sale. It was a madhouse! I bought sooo many toys for my dd for real cheap. Anyway, I missed it and was thrilled when it re-opened! :D I hope you all find another Disney Store in which to get your Disney fix. ::yes::

Kalamazoo (actually it was in Portage), Michigan's store went dark on the 16th too.

Hi all,
If anyone has a Disney store that is still open, The catalog from there store, should have a code on the back cover for free shipping.
I use to go to my store and get the catalog and order from it, because the store doesnt have most things for adults or items for the house, and it had free shipping.
If you would like to share the code on the back of the catalog, I would love to have it.( you could PM me with it, if your not suppose to put it on theses boards)
I order alot (nine grandchildren and Im a disney nut) and with the store closing on me and no more codes for free shipping I dont know if I can do this. Thoses shipping costs are a killer:earseek:
Thanks for any help in advance,
Betsy

And the Plymouth Meeting mall only had 3 weeks notice....I used to work at the Willow grove store and they were telling me that they were closed in just about 3 weeks...scarey...
