My Store closed

In looking at the boards for the last year (2/03- 2/04), I have noticed a huge amount of Disney Stores closing permanently. I know that they were going to put them up for sale, but in an effort to realize the actual scope of how many have closed IN THE LAST YEAR, I am starting this thread. In the last month alone, I have read of at least 5-10. I think this might help those of us here at the DIS to see just how many and how widespread the closures have been. This also might help us to dispel the rumors that the sale that has already happened and they will be closing all the stores. (or confirm)

ACCCKKKKK! I went to the mall today to buy some Disney videos for the Easter basket. When I walked up to the Disney Store I was puzzled because the fence gate thing was down. I thought it was weird that the store wasn't open yet and it was almost noon. Then it hit me ... the store has closed. I must have looked pathetic standing there holding the bars and holding back tears. I couldn't believe it!!

Go to King of Prussia Mall.

We lost one of our stores this month. Closed on the 23rd of March.

We have 2 more. One at Mayfair and Southridge malls. All basically in the same city.

Brookfield closed. I hate walking past the mall now. It is so sad to see the shell of the store.

All around the Milwaukee area!
