I'm almost afraid to post this because after all my cancellations it seems like a jinx, but...

I’m with you Pluto468. I’ve had to cancel trips in January and February this year due to family illness and my own dental issues. Now I’ve booked a solo trip for May 1st to 8th, staying at Stovall’s Best Western (love their pool area!). I’m holding my breath that third time’s the charm!

I’ve got some ADRs and I’ll have to do the walk up at Lamplight Lounge Boardwalk Dining so I can get my lobster nachos!
I hope you all have WONDERFUL May trips

May 24-28 (Springhill Suites)
I finally got my Mommy & Me trip with DD booked. DH has been resistant, but I wore him down. We were so sick until spring break season hit, and now DH is traveling for work 2 different weeks in May. One of the boys has a surgery the first week of June. So the last week of May is pretty much it unless I don't care about seeing my husband for a whole month, or wait until July.
I have a FNC with Marriott (that expires May 28) and I let DD pick which hotel. I think she likes that she'll get her own "room" at the Springhill.

The good news is that since we couldn't work it out before the school year ends, my teacher sister gets to come with us!
We'll get 3-day military promotional tickets....probably with Multi-Pass.
I would love to go longer, but that's all I have enough points for. I'm sure it will be enough.
DD is my thrill rider, so I finally have someone to ride the Incredicoaster with....we'll see if I can talk her into Guardians.

Just canceled my trip to Epic Universe for its opening weekend and swapped to going to Disneyland May 23-26. As excited as I am about Epic, the FOMO of going opening weekend has worn off now that the park has been open to the public practically all month leading up to official opening. I’ll go in a few months.

On the other hand, Disneyland’s 70th excites me way more. My first visit to Disneyland was in 1985 during the 30th anniversary celebration. Have been back many times for other celebrations, the 50th being my all-time favorite. Was just there for Disneyland Half Marathon in February this year but wanted to go back for the start of the 70th! Anxious for the return of Paint The Night, I love all Disney night parades and am thrilled they’re coming back to both coasts this year after a long absence.

Will be excited to read people’s reports once the 70th officially starts prior to my trip.

We arrive in a week (5/10-5/18) for our first DVC stay at VDH.

It wasn't planned, but our last two park days overlap the start of the 70th celebration.

I'm now in single digits! 9 more days! Everything I've seen on Social Media has looked great!

Me, the wife and our two daughters will be going on the 28th-30th. Doing Disneyland on 28th, then DCA and Disneyland.

I hope that Bananas thing won't make the crowds crazy on the 28th? This will be daughters first time at Disneyland and will be buying LL to try and get on as many rides as possible!

We'll be there next week! I'm worried about the crowds, DH will not spring for LL, but we just need to remember that waiting in line still beats a day at work at home.
