I would kind of rather get ugly ones because it would be easier to trade away? Apparently I get very attached to cute things and would just end up buying excessive amounts of Vinylmation (though I'm sure Disney wouldn't mind! ) in order to keep trading. At least with a bad one, there's a better chance that the next trade will go better!

haha yeah, if you were planning to trade then an ugly one wouldn't be so bad. I have never done the trading but it sure seems like a lot of the "bad" ones end up in the trade boxes!

Emma is having a great time. I think she's enjoying having those off days to visit the parks. I bet it's nice not feeling rushed to do everything.

LOL, I'm glad I'm not the only vinylmation lover. I'm actually not a huge fan of the villains which I guess is good because there are already too many designs I like.

Only 9 days until...

No trip to WDW is complete without a ride on the monorail! There's something about it that is so Disney. A lot of times when we arrive we'll try to guess which color we'll see first.

I'm hoping that after our first morning at the Magic Kingdom we can take a monorail over to Epcot! Gotta love that loop around the park.

Matt's really enjoying himself although he has a less than ideal roommate situation... Since Matt's 28 and a little outside the normal age bracket for CP kids they placed him with a 32 year old. It's just the two of them in a one bedroom apartment and let's just say two grown men don't do well in those conditions
But he applied for management internship and has already had two interviews from interested resorts (Caribbean and All Star) so things are going really well! Guess I better start looking for my own job prospects in Orlando
Matt's also taking a class but I can't remember the name of it... something about Guest Services? I know it meets on Thursdays. He's only been once but he said it was really interesting.

Happy Sunday everyone!

Only 40 days to go until our Halloween trip! I'm getting really excited. I talked to Emma the other day for a little bit (she spent one of her off-days visiting the parks and they ended up going to all of them in one day ) and she said how she's excited for us to come down. Ahhh it's going to be so much fun.

Anyway, Dad's been asking me if I've thought anymore about what I want to do each day so I'm going to start posting some possible daily plans for the couple of days we're there. So stay tuned for that...in the mean time I thought I'd share some pictures my sister posted on her facebook from her park travels. I know I've said this before but I am so looking forward to seeing all of the fall/Halloween decorations!

So pretty! Can't wait to see them in person!

Aww, that stinks about the roommate situation. My sister was lucky-she found some girls she wanted to room with on facebook. They did have a little bit of apartment drama a few weeks ago (nothing with each other, more the building) but luckily that was all sorted out. That's awesome he has had a couple interviews already! I can't remember the name of the class my sister's doing either but I thought it had something to do with marketing.

Oh cool, I haven't been to Disneyland in a few years. When we went it was after Christmas so the Haunted Mansion was decorated for the Nightmare Before Christmas. Was it like that when you went? I think they do the transformation pretty early.

OK, time for the next countdown picture! Can't believe tomorrow we'll be at one week!

But for now, it's 8 days until...

Part of the thing that is so great about this ride is all of the great theming and the whole set up before the drop: the library, going into the boiler room, and then all the cool visual effects. It's also pretty fitting since we'll be there around Halloween, haha. Hard to believe I used to be afraid of this ride, huh?
