Well, I'm posting kind of late today but it's really almost here!

Only 2 days until...

I know there are a lot of people who look forward to seeing those purple road signs. It's one of the things that makes Disney World so unique-no other place in the world has road signs like that. It's a sure "sign" (pun intended?) you're really there.

Tomorrow is the Halloween parade at school and then I'll have to come home and pack. Then it'll be off to bed early (maybe) to get up early for the airport!

I have been watching the weather forecasts closely the last few days. At least the hurricane looks like it won't be a threat to Florida, but it does look like there is a good chance we will be seeing some rain showers here and there. Friday looks like the worst day, so we may have to reevaluate our plans when we get there and see what the weather is like. The Animal Kingdom is probably the worst park to be in if it's raining because there aren't that many buildings and indoor attractions to hide out in. I don't mind a few rain showers, but persistent steady rain would make it hard to enjoy DAK.

If it's raining when we arrive tomorrow maybe we'll have to go to Epcot instead and then try DAK on Saturday afternoon.

I've been watching too ever since you mentioned the hurricane. I hope that if there is rain it's just showers because I really don't want a repeat of March when it rained all day long!

Well...in 12 hours we will be at the airport and this time tomorrow we will be in Disney World!!!! I'm definitely excited (can't wait to see Emma!) but also a little bummed because it looks like there is going to be a lot of rain. I hope this is not going to become a trend for our Disney trips, LOL! If it does rain a lot we'll survive but it's a lot more fun when it's sunny and dry. Atleast this time I'm going prepared-I'm taking some extra shoes and clothes in case I get drenched. Let's hope it doesn't come to that though.

Anyways...on the positive side, we had our Halloween parade at school this afternoon and OMG, after that I am even more pumped for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Sunday night! It was so much fun seeing all the kids dressed up!

In honor of it being the last day of the countdown, I'm going to post a bunch of the Simple Disney Things pictures. So, ONLY ONE DAY until...
