My sister's going to be a CM-I gotta go visit her! TR LINK UP! p. 21

Third vote for KTTK tour, we love those backstage type shows. It definitely adds to the magic for me also, makes me appreciate what goes on. I forgot your April trip was going to be a long one, that'll be so nice :) Love the ornament, I need to go check out what they have, you're right that it's never too early to buy Christmas ornaments.

Good heavens I'm late to the party! :rolleyes1 I lurked thru your last TR and was a teeny late catching up.... but I'm here now and can't wait to go back and read thru all your plans. Woo hoo!!

Sarah! I'll be at MK on Easter too! We will be getting off the Fantasy on the 7th and staying at BLT. My birthday is on the 8th and I'm spending it at MK! We should meet up that day!

Oh I highly HIGHLY recommend KTTK! It was amazing! Some people may say that it 'ruined' the magic for them, but I think it does quite the opposite - made things even more magical for me now that I know some of the things that go on backstage and how much hard work it really is to keep everything up and running!

It's also a great opportunity to get answers to any questions or rumors you may have heard. My amazing guide, Annibal, was able to confirm or deny some rumors I had heard so I really felt like I was getting insider info!

Yeah, I know some people say that but I think we'd have the same reaction as you. I'm sure it's a really great tour.

Here's a second vote for the KTTK tour. I loooved it and I was highly skeptical before we went.

And I love your ornament! I collect the Disney Princess Precious Moments ones that Hallmark puts out. This years was Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella and I snatched them up in July :rotfl:

My sister has one of those Precious Moments ones and was looking at them when I got my Jiminy Cricket. They are cute. I think she wanted one but couldn't decide which one to get. haha

I love plans!:lmao: I bet if EMHs were at 7am not too many people take advantage. You could get lots done TWICE!:woohoo:

MNSSHP was awesome, so awesome that I wish we had gone to 2 of the parties!

Yeah, it's really early for some people. Dad and I thought it was sort of exciting getting up so early and riding the bus to the park when it was still pitch black outside. We got to do a ton of rides in a short amount of time.

Glad to hear you had fun at the party. It would be nice to do two of them. There's so much to see.

Your April trip sounds awesome and will make this October short trip not so rushes since you know you will be back :)

And one more thing......

GO BREWERS..............and..........

GO PACKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, exactly. I have a feeling I'm going to be saying "we can do that in April" a lot since we only have two days.

We were at the Brewer game last Sunday which was awesome (though I was so nervous the entire time, even when they went ahead)! I was so tired when we got home but leaving the stadium was fun. Everyone was highfiving each other. And then some people started chanting Go Pack Go! They had a nice come from behind win too. 5-0! Hope we have another nice sports weekend this week.

:woohoo: on 19 days!!

That was sweet of Brook to send you that luggage tag - am glad you managed to get one.

The April plans sound great - I hope you got to do the KTTK tour and wow at the possibility of EMH taking place from 7am! I bet the parks would be empty that early.

Great Oct 30 plans and I can't wait to hear how you find MNSSHP!

I am glad too. I was so bummed when my old one got lost.

When we did the 7 am EMH last year it was so dead...it was still dark out when we got to the park! Awesomeness. :thumbsup2

I am so excited for the party!

How great that you're at less than a month for your October trip and now 6 months until your April trip! I definitely want to experience a holiday in WDW. It's going to be so wonderful to wake up in WDW on Easter Sunday!

What is your sister's work schedule like? Are you going to get a lot of time to spend with her when you're there?

We've been in WDW on Easter a couple times. It was a few years ago, on one of the trips when we stayed at the Polynesian...they had a huge "egg hunt" (which was really more just picking up tons of candy from the ground) and going to Blizzard Beach. Since that'll be our first full day it'll be interesting to see how busy the MK is. That's why I'm hoping for 7 am EMH!

She usually gets two days off a week (last night she got to go to MNSSHP, lucky!). She requested off for the days we're there and that was approved so she will be able to spend those couple days with us. :)

We absolutely loved the Backstage Safari tour we did last year so I'm sure we'd enjoy the KTTK tour too. I hope we get to do it! It will definitely be nice having a whole week when we go in April since our Oct. trip is going to go by so fast. It's nice knowing that we'll be back in just a few months.

Good heavens I'm late to the party! :rolleyes1 I lurked thru your last TR and was a teeny late catching up.... but I'm here now and can't wait to go back and read thru all your plans. Woo hoo!!

Glad you found me! There's not too much to catch up on since it's going to be such a short trip. But a short trip is better than no trip.

Sarah! I'll be at MK on Easter too! We will be getting off the Fantasy on the 7th and staying at BLT. My birthday is on the 8th and I'm spending it at MK! We should meet up that day!

Oh wow, I'm jealous of the cruise. What a nice bday present. We should meet up-that would be fun!

Happy Friday everyone! We're now only 2 WEEKS away from our trip! :yay::dance3::woohoo::banana::cool1: So close yet so far. haha I really can't wait. I talked to my sister briefly this morning. She went to MNSSHP last night and said it was so much fun (duh). She said she and her roommates got to meet a lot of the characters because it wasn't crowded at all. I think it'll be a little different story come October 30 but we'll see. I'm eager to see all her pictures, LOL.

Since we're getting so close, I'll finish up the trip plans.

Monday, October 31, 2011 Plans!!!

The sad news is that this is our departure day. Already. Our flight back home is around 4:00ish which means the ME will probably come pick us up around 1. That means we won't really have a whole lot of time to do anything. I was thinking that if we aren't able to get on Soarin at all (since we won't be visiting Epcot in the morning) I would go over there just to ride it. Then I remembered I don't have my annual pass anymore :sad2: and it would be pointless to waste a whole day on my ticket for a couple hours. So, instead I thought maybe we could go over to Downtown Disney for a while. It might be nice to try breakfast at

earl2.jpg

I love eating there for dinner so I'm sure breakfast would be good too!

Then we'd probably just stroll around and visit some of the stores. Maybe make a last minute purchase or two. :rolleyes1 Which brings me to souvenirs! You'd think that for how often we go to WDW I wouldn't need to buy anything. Nope. There's something about Disney that makes me want to buy stuff-I know I'm not the only one like that. ;) No, I really do try to limit myself though and get things that somehow relate to our trip. I should mention I already have one thing that I'll be bringing home with me:

halloweencandy1.jpg

I saw this a while ago and thought it was so cute. I told Emma about it and she was nice enough to pick one up for me. Of course I'll have to reimburse her for it.

I will probably get another vinylmation of some sort but I'll have to decide once I get there. Some possibilities include:

An IASW junior keychain
VMBlog_20110729_VMJr4Box.jpg

Or this Cars set
$(KGrHqYOKjgE4jD9q-i0BOQeNWBN-w~~0_1.jpg

I also want to get a couple pins. Since I like to get ones that have something to do with the trip, I want to get one for MNSSHP and the Food and Wine Festival. I saw these on the Disney Pin Blog:

We're also addicted to these crackers so I'm sure we'll be bringing some of these home.
20090605_0122-a.jpg

Seriously, if you have not had these before you should try them. They're like goldfish crackers only better. So good.

I'm tempted to scope out the Dooney and Bourke bags to and see if I can convince anyone to get me one as a Christmas present. :rolleyes1

After strolling around Downtown Disney we'll have to say good-bye to Saratoga Springs :sad1: and get ready to come home.
saratoga-springs3.jpg

Hopefully it won't be as bad leaving since Dad and I will be going back in April (oh, and Dad will be going in December with Mom and Claire too). But I won't get to see Emma again until she comes home from the CP in January. :sad2:

If anybody else has suggestions for those couple hours in the morning feel free to share!

great update of your last day!!!! I might go to Earl tomorrow if I spend a few hours at TL. I have progress reports due on Friday but figured I need to enjoy the sunshine and 85 degree temps for as long as possible!!

Hi Sarah!:goodvibes

I finally made it over here and I'm all caught up!! I can't believe you only have two weeks left! That's so exciting!:yay: I'm hoping we can make it to MNSSHP one of these days. It looks like so much fun!

Your plans look really good and I just love the "Simple Things Disney" pics you are posting. I have a ton of them on my Pinterest page...I might have to include them in my PTR when I get around to starting it. Great idea!:thumbsup2

Love the new Vera! Hoping for a new one from DH for Christmas.:rolleyes1

Yay! for an April trip and staying at the Boardwalk. It looks like we might be going at the same time! Well...hopefully. Our tentative dates our April 9-April 14. I'm having a hard time finding affordable airfare so I have been hesitant to book our rooms yet. It would be so cool if we were there at the same time.:goodvibes

What a bummer that your last day is so short, was that the only flight available?

Why no annual pass renewal? I think you mentioned it earlier or your dad mentioned something in his TR, I just can't remember. Wouldn't it be cost effective since you'll be back for a week in April?

Sorry if I'm being too nosey.

:woohoo: on it being less than 2 weeks to go! :yay: That's cool that your sister got to go to MNSSHP a couple of nights ago!

Oh no on it being the last day. Your DTD plans look great - I have never tasted those crackers so will make sure I get some next time round.

Boo on progress reports but yay on possibly going to TL and Earl of Sandwich! Man I'm so jealous.

I really like the Japanese Food and Wine pin, so pretty!

I know, I thought it was so cute!

Hey Angie!

I can't believe how fast it's coming up. I hope you get to go to a Halloween party some day. I'm sure you guys would love it!

Thanks, I love all the Simple Disney Things pictures. They're so much fun and the person who does them does a good job of capturing those little things that make Disney so awesome! :goodvibes

Ooh, I hope you can find something for April! I know for our trip Dad was checking as soon as the flights became available so ours weren't too bad. I'm crossing my fingers for you!

What a bummer that your last day is so short, was that the only flight available?

Sorry if I'm being too nosey.

I can't remember about the flights. Part of the thing is that I have to get back for school on Tuesday. I wish I could stay longer.

Don't worry, you're not being too nosy. Before I got my annual pass, I had one of the 10-day hoppers with no expiration. That's what we had been doing since our trips were a little shorter and we could use them for a couple trips. So I still have a few days left on that hopper and we also are going to take advantage of my sister's gate pass for being a CM.

:woohoo: on it being less than 2 weeks to go! :yay: That's cool that your sister got to go to MNSSHP a couple of nights ago!

I am so jealous she got to go to one of the parties AND she'll get to go again with us.

Yes, you should! The crackers are yummy!

Aw, the It's a Small World keychain hippo (?) looks so cute! I'm not really sure about keeping Vinylmations but the whole process around picking out a secret one from a bag sounds so fun. The Food and Wine pin is pretty as well.

Disney is just so good at making collectible sets, it really isn't fair!

Work just gets in the way of a good vacation :rotfl2: Sorry you couldn't stay longer :(

That's right, your dad did mention about the no expiration tickets.

Just had a thought, you could go mini golfing on that last day. That could be fun and you wouldn't have to use up a park ticket.

I can't say that I've ever even seen those crackers. I'll have to scope them out this upcoming trip.

Yeah, the blindboxing is really intriguing but at the same time it's really maddening when you get a bad one.

It's OK, atleast I get to go back in April. :goodvibes

I do love mini golfing. I'm not sure what time they open though and since we don't have a rental car it would be tough to get to the courses.

Hi DIS friends! :wave2:

We're getting close now...only 10 days to go! That means tomorrow it'll be time to do a DIS favorite, the single digit dance!!!

I found out yesterday my personal day at school was approved so I should be good to go. :thumbsup2

Since I really don't have any more plans to share I thought I'd do random 10 day countdown using some more of the Simple Disney Things pictures. Yes, it's pointless but it's always fun looking forward to all the familiar things in WDW.

So, here we go...

10 days until
tumblr_lhz0g5x40z1qhi766o1_500.png

Isn't it true though? Especially on that first morning when it's the start of a trip and the only thing you think about is what ride to do first. Definitely a good feeling!

Yay, single digit dance tomorrow!:woohoo: I love that excitment of "I going to Disney in less than 10 days!

Yeah, the blindboxing is really intriguing but at the same time it's really maddening when you get a bad one.

I would kind of rather get ugly ones because it would be easier to trade away? Apparently I get very attached to cute things and would just end up buying excessive amounts of Vinylmation (though I'm sure Disney wouldn't mind!) in order to keep trading. At least with a bad one, there's a better chance that the next trade will go better!

Yay for ten days!

Yeah for 10 days!!! :cool1:

I had a lot of catching up to do!
so Yeah for an Easter trip too! :goodvibes
And for staying at Boardwalk!

It sounds like your sister is getting to do some fun stuff in the parks!
I'm glad she is enjoying her time with the CP.

Your plans sound good! Those short trips are definately whirlwinds!
After reading your MNSSHP plans, I want to go back in the fall again!

Single digit time tomorrow! That's awesome! I love the very beginning of a trip, when you have the whole World at your fingertips and plenty of time to do it all. :goodvibes
