My Pal Mickey ?

Has anyone ever used the My Pal Mickey? Does it work from home or just in the parks? My daughter wants one and I just got an email to get last years version for cheap. I would only buy it if it works away from the parks.

Got one for my DS on our last trip. He loved it. Kept him entertained in the long lines, and also Mickey gives you some neat information about the park your are in.

He just arrived today from Disney Outlet, the kids are going to have a great time with him,. They are playing with him right now as he has some fun games to play. Great deal at $38.50 with shipping included

He tells a bunch of corney jokes. Does Pooh wear shoes? No he has Bear Feet!!! He has one game the kids have tried. He tells you to push his left hand or right hand or stomach and give you clues to go by. He said it is flys touch my right hand if its a villian touch my left if anything else touch my stomach. They are playing that one right now

He also plays a game of simon says, very funny with DS right now. Also he has a Park game. Asks the kids if it MK and they squeeze the hand if not squeeze the tummy. Like Star Wars yes or now? Very cool
