Zeke is doing well this morning, his goal is to get up and sit in a chair today! He is a little down, as to be expected. Tomorrow he will start physical therapy, and hopefully be takeing a few steps. The goal is to get home by next weekend.....we cannot wait for that!!He says "hi & thank you" to all his amazing friends ,family ,neighbors and all you he has never even met!
He is my strong little man and I cannot wait for you all to see him , you'll be amazed by how great he looks!!!

Thanks to all my neighbors & friends for all the visits,calls and messeges!

Zeke is doing well this morning, he is not talking much though. Doctors said that the way they did the surgery, they went through a part that controls emotions , he seems pretty sad! They did say that within a month he should start feeling happy again! He does know how to speak, just does not want to! I can tell you that he has not complained once scince we came here, not once!!! He looks really good, we did post new pictures !
Keep up the prayers , we should hear from pathology in the next few days!We are starting physcial therapy this afternoon!

Hi all.. Today is day 12 here and we are really missing our home, our puppy and just being a family.
Zeke is doing so well , he has been walking a little, did some math, read a book & wrote some beautiful letters to his family. He drew a picture of me,Rhett and him holding hands, a rainbow above us and wrote I love my mom & dad! He wrote a letter to his brothers and sister that said"my brothers and sister are my rock they make my happy when I am down"! What can I say , he is amazing!
The drain is not ready to come out yet, we are getting anxious for that!

OK, very big thank you to the dis'er who sent the Mickey Mouse. You are surely an angel, to do that for a total stranger. I can't wait for his family to be able to finally make that trip to Disney. I think their origanal plans had them leaving next week. Imagine how special the trip will be now? After having to go thru all this!

Zeke just had physcial therapy...he walked all around the halls, and even walked up 3 stairs!!!!! He is determined to get out of here and to be the kid he was before all of this! It's a little sad to see the kid that ran down the football field struggling to just walk, but I know he will be 100% one day,soon!He says "hi & he misses you"to all his friends at Briargate!He wishes he could have been at the music program, and can't wait to watch the video!
Thanks to Mickey Mouse for the cute stuffed Mickey...it put a smile on his face!

Thanks to all of you who have been sending cards, gifts & food, we appreciate it more then you know!
The Doctors are starting to challenge his drain, so we are working our way to having it removed! Hopefully in the next few days!
