Great AK day! I love those bead animals too but they were a bit pricey for me. I think they sell keychains and I might grab one of those when we eat at Boma this summer.
Glad to hear good news about Caleb.
Back to school tomorrow. I could go for another day off! I've been sick for a few weeks with a cough and finally went to the doctor today. Bad case of bronchitis (almost pneumonia ). She fussed at me for waiting so long to come in... I reminded her of what I did for a living... Combined with the stomach bug I had yesterday and I am ready for a fun day off!
Have a good week!
I hope you continue to recover steadily.
I will probably get a small little beaded animal someday - maybe an ant.
I love all the Animal Kingdom photos. I am counting down the days until I will be at AK taking by own pictures.
I have started my wish list of things I might need to bring home. It is nice to dream.
Not too long now!
It is nice to dream. I will be purchasing very little. If I see some Dalmatian stuff for Bella's party, that will probably be my priority.
I love the picture of Eeyore and Pooh in the little PJ's! Too cute!
When I was at the mall last week with Charles and our friend, we stopped in Rainforest Cafe just because Charles wanted to see the big tank with all the tropical fish. Something about ours smells like something, somewhere, in Disney and I was walking around trying to sniff deeply without it making too obvious what I was doing
I really like those beaded animals, too. I actually got a keychain one when I went to the aquarium with Christine because I thought it was cute. I also really like the wooden animals that they sell in the pyramid in Mexico (only on the DIS can you write something like that and people understand what you mean...), but I've never been able to justify the prices
Our RFC had a smell, too. When we would get to a certain spot in the mall, we could smell it. I wish they would bring it back. We lost our
Disney Store, then our entire mall.
The Oaxacan (sp?) wood carvings in Mexico are so neat, but yeah, the prices will make your eyes bug out a little.
I just can't get over how much snow you guys have gotten! And your temps are colder than ours! Although, tonight is chillyyyyyy out there, brrr! We walked over to Burger King for an extra healthy dinner, then to Starbucks for a coffee-treat and we were FROZEN by the time we got home. Good thing our landlord keeps our heat around 103 degrees. I hope it is warmer there now! It's supposed to warm up here soon, and hopefully that will melt the small piles of snow left.
I really enjoyed all your updates - the pictures from the Boneyard are very fun. We just love that place.
Isn't the walk from SSR to DTD beautiful? We really enjoyed that when we stayed there. It's such a pleasant and quick walk to all the fun on the other side of the water. I've only been inside the Christmas store once, methinks I need a closer look next time!
Me too!
It's back to the teens for us for about three nights at the end of the week. I will be so happy to be in Florida soon!
We've been in the Christmas store many, many times. There are hundreds of ornaments, stockings, and other decorations to choose from. You can be in the Christmas spirit at any time of the year.
Thank you once again for shopping pics!!! I can't wait to get to the 12 Days of Christmas store! I agree with you in that I could have many themed trees, if I had the room AND the money.
The scenery along the river is beautiful. I'm going to miss riding the ferry this summer. It's such a nice little ride from POR to DTD. I like it better than riding the bus.
On another side note I just found out today that Disney no longer does Disney dollars! I guess that shows how long it's been since I've planned a REAL trip to Disney. I had to by a gift card. Hopefully the Disney store lady was right and that I can use it at Disney.
After they discontinued Disney Dollars in the stores, you could still buy them online. Have they abandoned that, too?
I enjoy the boat rides in Disney World, too. It's fun for the girls to get to ride on boats, too, since it's obviously not a common thing at home.
Think of what DIStown would look like with all of our Disney trees!
Connor has been calling these past ten days the "snowcation." Some of us have had a better last day than others (namely Connor who has been in a snit all day -- really that child can hold a grudge longer than anybody else I know).
Anyway, love all the shopping pictures -- I do love Rex with his mouse ears and Mickey bar. Just so cute! Seeing Christmas merchandise always makes me want to add more pennies to the NYE Disney trip jar!
I am trying to get my finances in order, too, CP, for these trips. I paid off the coming one, so I know I can play, sleep, and eat. I probably just can't buy anything extra, but I have the basics paid for.
Great photos from AK, MeMom! DH loves the frozen bananas from the carts, and DS6 the strawberry bars! DS9 will eat the dipped mickey bars, but only the chocolate, so guess who ends up havign to eat the icecream?? We end up just getting the regular scoop icecream there in the park for him, otherwise it is a waste!!
I have that Stitch ornament, and I finally got the Rex this past trip .... I know it was expensive, but at least I got a little discount.. w/ my card... I wanted to have the whole toystory set... I have not eaten at the Rainforest cafe in FOREVER.
Hope you enjoyed your three day weekend! We did here, too..
I could share with your DS. I think there is too much chocolate on those ice cream bars. Together, we could take care of one.
Lexi likes these too, I wonder if we will come home with one.
I bet she is going to want a lot of fun Disney things. When is the big reveal?
