My Name Is NOT Broccoli!

Even though you feel that I'm entitled to my fair share of ill gotten gains I know I'd be hauled off to Mickey Jail if I ever tried to collect them!
I just remember when you texted me to tell me of the escapade! (and then blamed poor little Bella)

5 weeks from right now I'll be watching Wishes :cloud9:

Tomorrow is a very important day. Kazin's second birthday! :goodvibes

This was not a hit with Janessa from the very beginning.

She only lasted a few minutes, and then Trent and Tanya took her out. She didn't scream, but she was obviously not enjoying it, so they just stepped out.

I hated It's Tough To Be a Bug when I was little. On my first trip when I was 6, AK was the first park we went to and ITTBAB was the first thing we did...Not a good idea :rotfl: I was terrified! Not a good first impression of Disney  I was afraid of Pirates and the Haunted Mansion the first time too

You'd think 'Number your paper 1-10 would be easy, but for some, it's advanced course stuff. Sometimes I feel like I am on a hidden camera show when I say "Page 334" ten times and a student is asking what page we're on when I'm already on problem 4. So many of our kids just do not think. They don't listen. They don't comprehend. They're out in LaLa Land, wherever that is.

MeMom, hundreds of miles may separate us physically but in spirit, we are in EXACTLY the same place!:rotfl:

My DD should know where LaLa land is, she is there frequently. :rotfl2:

Aw, that is too funny about Bella and the potato head! lol

Hollie did the same thing when we first took her to Disney in 07. In the princess section outside of BBB at the World of Disney, there was a huge bin full of "jewels" that you could fill a bag up with. Well, we got back to the car and I heard her keep saying, "Isn't it pretty mommy!" I turned around and she had 2 jewels in her hand! Then she said, "Can I have them mommy?" OMG, I freaked!!!! We got back to the hotel and I told a CM working at guest services. She just laughed and said it was okay! But, I felt horrible!! haha

The video of Lily is great! She is adorable!
Good to hear she is making progress with her therapy.

I can just picture your face when you noticed the potatoe head in Bella's hands....

I bet all of us moms could share a similar story about our kids.
Those little hands can be fast.

Oh no, not another snow day....be careful coming home tomorrow! :goodvibes

Bella just smiled about the whole ordeal.

We don't want you in Mickey jail, so hopefully you'll do a good job of checking your hands and Harper's stroller when you are there. :goodvibes

Not sure, but I'm here!!

Hope you enjoy the pictures and trip back in time. It's October in January around here.

Happy Birthday to Kazin! Bella will join the Terrible Twos in April.

Our trips are getting close enough to start getting a little excited about now. :)

I can see where little kids would be scared of Haunted Mansion, but as an adult, it's just more fascinating than scary.

So much fun, isn't it? ;)

My DD should know where LaLa land is, she is there frequently.

Maybe she can give us insight as to what is so wonderful about that place, since so many kids seem to visit there so often. :goodvibes

Where did that phrase come from, anyway?

The CM at the Emporium acted like it was no big thing when I took those packets back, either. I think that attitude played a little into me not going back at DTD, along with the walk, the time constraint (since we were meeting Trent), and the value of the one-armed 'Tato.

I think I started out by saying, "Jill....look in the stroller!" :rotfl:

If it starts doing anything at all, they will start sending buses on out. We had a year where buses were out on icy roads until late in the evening when we didn't leave early one time, and parents were in a huge uproar. Now, they are much more cautious.

****************************************

I'll get to more pictures tonight or tomorrow. This has been a busy couple of days at school. We're trying to get last week's stuff caught up, which includes a ton of paperwork. Stay safe if you are getting the ice and snow today!

Yes, the Terrible Twos should be fun  I remember the day he was born. I got the phone call right before I had to go take my American Lit exam  He was born 3 hours before Obama's inauguration.

I'm getting very excited :thumbsup2 I think I'm driving my mom nuts :rotfl: I keep doing the "5 weeks from right now" thing. 5 weeks from right now, we'll be getting ready to go eat Breakfast at Kona. That definitely beats the store bought blueberry muffin I just ate ::yes::

It really is fascinating! We always go on it several times every trip because you notice something different every time.

Now I have to drag myself off the couch, out of my comfy sweatpants, and go take my algebra exam. We have exams today, tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday. I only have two this year. I'm exempt from the rest either because of my grade in the class or test scores. I can come home at 11:00 today :woohoo: Well, a little later because I have to finish up a graphic design project. Still, I'll be home early. Tomorrow I have a physics exam from 12 to 2. Then I have a 4 day weekend :cool1:

Just wanted to ask everyone to take a minute and say a quick prayer for Brooklynn's friend Carter and his family. His parents just watched him be wheeled back for his heart surgery. Please pray for this sweet little 4 year old boy that this less invasive procedure will be successful and he will not have to have open heart surgery.

I am praying for Carter right now - little sweetie..,.,I hope everything goes well!!

My thoughts go out to Carter's parents today! Daniel had heart surgery when he was only 2 weeks old. Seeing your little one wheeled away for major surgery is not easy!!

Thoughts and Prayers for Carter and his family in his recovery. Also a prayer for all his friends that are too young to understand.

I loved the video of Lily and still counting the days until I can see her in person. Plus the Small world meet, and Disney shopping, and hopefully by then a new little great-nephew to buy disney for.

MeMom I thought of you last weekend. A cousin gave me a snow globe with pooh and friends as a late Christmas present .

Update on Carter:

Prayers truly work. His parents had been told not to hold out hope for this procedure because he had multiple holes in his heart. I just talked to his mom and she said he is out of surgery and in recovery right now. He did amazing!! And the best news is the surgeons were able to fix all the holes and he now has perfect bloodflow! Thank you to everyone for your prayers.

This is wonderful news! God is good!

Great news and answer to prayer. May he continue to fully recover and be running and jumping with Brooklynn soon.

It's a terrible feeling watching someone you love being wheeled away from you on a hospital gurney!!
