My Name Is NOT Broccoli!

Lots of fun at Animal Kingdom that day! I miss the days when my two liked the Boneyard. It was nice to sit for awhile.

I am having visions of what it would be like to take Donald's nephews on a hike! I think I would be a nervous wreck.

Not ridiculous at all, I think that's a great idea! And, no, that's not my Disney bias talking, at least I don't think it is Jared would seriously love to have a teacher like you or Anita that really incorporates Disney into their classroom

Look at that sweet baby, watching so intently There is so much movement and wonderful color in that show, I think I look that way when watching it too!

:rotfl2: At Pat deducing which tumble monkey is 'hers'

Those little Disney touches make spending my days in a room with 20 7-8 year olds a little bit easier. :thumbsup2

The girls all enjoyed Lion King. Janessa was relieved that it was not another ITTBAB.

Hey, I can enjoy the show right????? I am just looking with the camera.

The zoom lens, too, I'm sure.

You should read the books.

I'm going to stick with 'no' for now. :)

I did just put some more up over on my TR. Including a tile picture.:sad2:

I did see those. ::yes::

The boys are going to have to wait on Universal/SeaWorld for another year. I bought our 7 day tickets to Disney World today. They are fine with my decision. I was too scared of the Harry Potter crowds to chance it since I am too cheap to stay on-site. Our trip is June 1-June 8.

Hooray for you! :woohoo: I am glad the guys are on board, too.
Let the planning begin!
I hope you get to meet some other DISers while you are there, too.

Yes she is! We need to spend more time together!

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Something makes me think you two could get into a lot of mischief together. :rolleyes1

since you guys have been snowed in, too, i figured you'd get a kick outta these, even though you're not from georgia. still applies to southerners!

it was crazy....people were SKIING at piedmont park in atlanta!!!

we're supposed to be in the 40's by this afternoon. HEAT WAVE!!!!
Those two are hilarious!!! That is seriously how I feel too. I remember our snowstorm/blizzard last Feb. It began with a stomach virus, then the temp dropped and it started snowing, than the electricity went out...then I began to panic. The house was below 55 degrees, wind howling, and our street was dead quiet...no one was out there. School kept calling each day out individually. Seriously, couldn't they just say no school for the week??:confused3 By the forth day I was drooling too!!!!:crazy2::faint:

I think we put up a FB picture of the table and told people to guess where we were having breakfast. I doubt anybody guessed from that.

*******************************************

Next we went over to The Boneyard to let the girls have some free play time.

This little fella befriended Bella.

SSRStayOct2010303.jpg

This is such a great place to let the kids run around and have some simple kid fun in a controlled area while the adults get a little sit down time.

Have a superific Saturday, DIS friends!
The sun is out :sunny:
and
it is supposed to be in the 40's today! :cool1:
I agree with your thoughts on TV! Love house hunters since I won't ever get to tour and pick out my own house. I don't need to search for a vacation home either.... I know where it would be already...Golden Oaks! LOL! :rolleyes1

Oh and don't get me started on Kate...ouy:sad2::rolleyes:

Wow you really got around to everything at AK!!! Seeing Bella's expression, I have really got to try to see NEMO at AK! Look how cute Bubby is holding her. I  the Lion King show already.....including those monkey backsides  hahahahahaha

How awesome that you all got to be Family of the Day!!!!! :woohoo: I love that Disney does those special things for families...remember those years-of-a -dream days when they would go around surprising folks? So cool!

The Boneyard looks like such fun too! How sweet of that little boy to befriend Bella....I wonder if he knew who you all were? ;):disrocks:

Well I am off enjoying our long weekend...yippy skippy!!! :surfweb: Thanks for all of the cool updates and pics and stories! You know how I love em :lovestruc Have a great rest of the weekend and week!!!

WOW! You could have been at WDW with all the time off you had.

I loved the cartoon & pics that punkin shared...too funny! :lmao:

Glad to hear temps are on the rise and you can venture out of your driveways.
If it wasn't for having to make up the days, I'm sure none of you would be anxious to get back to school. ;)

I left work yesterday afternoon early because we were getting alot of snow.
The roads were crazy, I saw an SUV that took down a traffic post. (a true miracle that there were no injuries)

I wanted to stop and get a haircut but I decided to just go home and get off the roads.

Very cool to be "Family of the Day"!!! :thumbsup2
I have never been to Pizzafari. I will have to go next time for sure and check out all the really neat decor!

Will they let a grown up in the Boneyard without a young child?
I've never been in there either and it would be fun to see it.

Mmmmmn.....red velvet cake! I love it! :lovestruc
Maybe I should make some cupcakes today.

It may have to be a Mickey waffle morning today....just because. :goodvibes

They should add some semi-educational-but-still-cool stuff to that area to make it more interesting to older kids and teens.

I bet Huey, Dewey, and Louie could ruffle your feathers on a camping trip, for sure. :)

I am very happy to report that we have blue skies and sunshine today, and we can see our brown grass everywhere. :goodvibes

You will enjoy Nemo. It's a nicely done production and a great way to get out of the heat for a while.

We enjoy seeing our trips again through the pictures, and we're really glad when others do, too.

Cupcakes sound good, as do Mickey waffles.

Pizzafari is fun to look around in, and as for eating, it's a good place to be able to eat counter service and still be indoors.

My cousin, Brandy, and I decided at church this morning that we could be very happy staying at home. Tuesday morning will be here before we know it, though, and it will be time to get back to the craziness.

The new zoom lens - ::yes:: ::yes::

I didn't doubt it for a minute.

***********************************

The little boy, Caleb, who was hit by a falling rock at Fall Creek Falls was at our church this morning. We had given the family one Sunday's contribution to help with medical and family expenses, and they had come to say thanks. His dad said that he is learning to walk again, but has balance issues. He is learning to repeat words that are spoken to him. He is having vision issues that have more to do with his brain injury than his eyes. His dad was very honest and very hopeful and positive about Caleb's future. He asked that people still keep him in their prayers, because he still has many obstacles to overcome in the future.

Time to run through a gift shop.

Where to next?
Time to ride Expedition Everest! :cool1:

SSRStayOct2010318.jpg

Or not.

SSRStayOct2010319.jpg

SSRStayOct2010320.jpg

Trent and Tanya did ride it, but Jill has the picture of that, I believe.

Maybe I'll just go get ice cream for everyone. :thumbsup2
Which one is your favorite?

SSRStayOct2010321.jpg

SSRStayOct2010322.jpg

What is he eating now?
A pretzel, maybe?

SSRStayOct2010323.jpg

I tried again to get a good picture of this sign to recreate for my insect Science center at school.

SSRStayOct2010324.jpg

I know that Trent didn't have a Jalepeno pretzel, but the picture of his pretzel and the fact that he was at AK having the pretzel has me wanting a Jalepeno pretzel.

I can't wait to see what you do with your "It's tough to be a bug" area at school! Sounds like so much fun!!!

Pat dear I think you may need to take a cold shower.....

Glad to hear Caleb was at church, even though it sounds like he has a long road to go. I will continue prayers for he and his family.

Wondering if I could ask all you wonderful DIS'ers for some prayers. We found out that my 91 year old grandma was just admitted to the hospital. Don't know much other than low heart rate and high blood pressure. I would appreciate any prayers you can send our way.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I can probably safely say- one of use the match and the other the dynamite. We are not dangerous unless we are together. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Of course, the one that's the match and the one that's the dynamite could change depending on the situation.

Prayers and hugs going out to your family and your father as he faces this. My husband has charcot foot. A complication from the diabetes. If his feet don't heel. Well, we won't consider that with god on our side. So I somewhat know what you are going thru. Many prayers and hugs to you.

:hug: and prayers to both of you.

I'm the  of this duo!

Considering I work with people in bathing suits most of the time, you think I should be used to it.

How can you resist this enthusiasm?

I see him and think monkey! You see him and think monkey business!:lmao:

You girls are having quite the fun time, aren't ya?
I hope to hear all this laughter in person at a big DIS meet one of these days. :)

He's always eating something!!!

Right now, I am just tossing bug stuff - books, cards, plastic insects - in a box. I hope to work on it this summer, like I did Rafiki's area this year.

Be assured you have our thoughts and prayers, just as other DIS families with ill or hurting family members do. Everyone, please keep us up to date on your loved ones.

Memom, just jumping on my daughters laptop and catching up. Family of the day. Woot.
I love me some AK, yes i do. :upsidedow
Laying on the ground and picture taking sometimes results in pictures that are envy worthy, lay away i say.
On to other things, the tumble monkeys are very 'muscular'.;)

And to those fellow friend disser's who need the prayers, i just sent some up for you. Sometimes we feel like life is just kind of taking over, then we hear of how some are going thru so much worse, so my prayers ended today with a thank you. I hugged all my children today. They hugged me back. Life is good. :grouphug:

On with the show ladies......:surfweb:
