I had my eating under control until the end of the day... Let's just say that it is a good thing the last MooseMunch bag is gone.

DH and I were watching a movie last night and for the first hour all I could think about was I wanted MooseMunch. Then I decided I needed to do something about the craving. I thought I could just have a normal serving, but noooooo, I just kept going back for more.
8:00a - scrambled egg, 2 slices blueberry crumble toast, 8 oz 100% cranberry juice (this stuff is nasty!)
11:30a - grapefruit, 1c tomato & roasted pepper soup, 8 wheat thins, 1 LC wedge
4:30p - chicken breast, 1/2c mashed potato w/ 1T gravy, 1.5c broccoli, 12oz skim milk, 4 tiny chocolate squares
9:30p - too much Moose Munch, 12oz skim milk
4 f/v
92 oz water
No exercise

Scott, park touring is fun, but exhausting. We have annual passes this year to DL. We need to remember that we don't have to "do it all in a day". We can come back another day.
Amy, you will do fine on your trip, I'm sure. And yes, I need to sign up for the October challenge. Even though I didn't make the September Challenge, it did get me out moving more than I would have otherwise.
Tracey, it really worked pretty well to be the FastPass "runner" while everyone else ate goodies. Solved two problems at once.

. Here is the promised dance party story ...
6th grade girls dance

. One of the local Community Centers sponsors a 6th grade coed dance once a month. Several of the parents felt like their 6th grade girls were really too young to go to a dance, but the kids still wanted to go. As a compromise, they decided to host a dance party for girls only. DD11 was invited. DD11 is very bright, but one of the youngest in 6th grade and socially pretty immature besides. She has no interest in boys or dance parties. However, she doesn't have a lot of friends and it was nice that she was included in this group so she decided she wanted to go. The logistics were complicated though since DH was out of commission. I dropped DD11 off at soccer practice at 3, came home picked up DD12 for swim practice leaving DH watching Sesame Street with DD3. DD12 and I picked up DD11 from soccer at 4:30 and then dropped DD12 off at the pool at swim practice at 5. DD11 and I came home. She showered and then discovered one of the few perks of having an older sister - borrowing her clothes!

Figured out was DD11 could wear, dropped her off at the dance party at 6 with a promise that I would come back to chaperone as soon as I got everyone else squared away. Raced back to the pool to pick DD12 up from swim practice at 6:15 (I was about 10 minutes late and she was not happy!). Came home. Fed DD12, DD3 and attempted to find something for DH to eat. Changed myself and returned to the 6th grade dance party, as promised. It was nearly 8pm by the time I got there and the wonderful hostess offered me that wonderful glass of wine.

Of course, DD11 comes up to me 2 minutes later and says she wants to go home.... Knowing I can't chug the wine and bolt, I convince her that we need to stay for another 30 minutes and then we can go. When I arrived the girls were mostly just chasing each other around the garage (where the party was). Then one of the other mom's organized a "dance contest". Some of those girls can dance(!), but most of them were really just being goofy. DD11 and a handful of others (who didn't want to dance at all) were the judges. It actually made me feel better that most of the girls were still being girls, not wannabe teenagers. When I talked to DD11 later in the evening, she said that the party had been pretty much ok. They danced a little in the beginning, then they played tag (that was the best part, according to her.). But when it got dark, the mom's made them stay in the garage and they couldn't play tag anymore. I had arrived at about that point. So, turns out the kids still want to be kids for a little while longer. Thank goodness!
